    Class : Caster
    Identity : Aji Saka
    Origin : Javanese Mythology
    Alignment : Neutral Good

Caster is cunning and adventurous King, he uses his craftiness and intelligence to devise highly unorthodox plans to defeat his enemies. Though he is always eager to help those who are in trouble, Caster is a double-edged sword: he always remembers to repay his debts (whether morally just or unjust) yet never forgets those who have wronged him, making him somewhat sinister despite his generosity. Despite his willingness to place his subjects in danger, Caster is genuinely loyal to his Master.

    Likes : Poetry, culture
    Dislikes : Cruel ruler, misunderstanding
    Talents : Devising unorthodox plans
    Natural Enemies : Dewata Cengkar
Catalyst : A stone Epigraph in which he inscribed the Dentawiyanjana

    STR : C
    END : C
    AGI : C+
    MGI : B+
    LCK : B
    NP : B+

    CLASS SKILLS
    Territory Creation : B
A Caster-class Skill. It is the Skill to build a special terrain that is advantageous to oneself as a magus, such as for the purpose of collecting mana. Creation of a "Workshop" becomes possible.

    Item Creation : C+
A Caster-class Skill. It is the Skill to manufacture magical items, from implements of war to items for daily use. Also, this Skill requires time to gather components and manufacture items. Caster is also especially talented in manufacturing and enchanting various types of clothes accessories, such as scarf, bandana, turban, sash, etc.

    PERSONAL SKILLS
    Charisma : B
A composite Skill consisting of a person's charm as well as the natural talent to command or unify an army or country. Increases the ability of allies during group battles. Being the first king that brought culture and civilization to the island of Java, Caster has the charisma that's enought to rule an entire nation.

    Javanese Magecraft : B
A skill that denotes one's knowledge about the mystical magecraft of the Javanese. In addition to being the King that brought literacy and the Saka calender system to the island of Java, Caster was also a magus that improved the traditional Javanese magecraft. This type of magecraft is characterized with the frequent use of curses (santet) and the summoning of "Djinn" familiars that can be 'inserted' into an object to give it special magical effects.

    Imperial Privilege : A
A skill that gives an ability that, due to the insistence of the owner, Skills that are essentially impossible to possess can be obtained for a short period of time. In cases when the Rank is А or above, even the "burden to the body" can be acquired (such as Divinity). Caster has this skill at A rank to indicate him as the first King of Java, who also was a King from the far-away land of Bhumi Majeti. The relevant skills are Riding, swordsmanship, fine arts, Charisma, Military Tactics and others.

    NOBLE PHANTASM
    Laladan Saka
    All Encompassing Cloth
    Rank : B+
    Type : Anti-Army
A Noble Phantasm in the form of the cloth that Caster used to enlace and throw the man-eating giant king Dewata Cengkar into the South Sea. It is a cloth with a powerful djinn spirit residing on it, bestowing the cloth with powerful enchantments. The main feature of this Noble Phantasm is the ability to enlarge the cloth into an almost infinity expanse, enough to cover the entire island of Java, if it any part of the cloth is cut, he can easily regenerate it just by enlarging it.

Caster, with the help of the djinn residing inside the cloth, can control any parts of the cloth freely, allowing him to literally cover and throw around his enemies with the sheer size of the cloth. This cloth can also be used for defensive purpose, such as to obstruct the vision of others, to shrug off offensive spells equal to B ranked Magic Resistance and can also be used for physical barrier to some extent thanks to the durability of the djinn-enchanted cloth.

    Dentawiyanjana
There Were Servants, Had Animosity, Equally Powerful, They Are Dead
    Rank : C++
    Type : Anti-Unit
A Noble Phantasm that represents the 20 letters Caster inscribed, the Dentawiyajana which is said to be the origin of the Javanese alphabet, Hanacaraka. Caster inscribed these letters in form of a poet to commemorate the death of his loyal servants Dora and Sembada, who fought against each other over a misunderstanding he caused. The poem, which is also a perfect pangram, consisted of :

    Spoiler:
hana caraka --> There (were) two messengers

data sawala --> (They) had animosity (among each other)

padha jayanya --> (They were) equally powerful (in fight)

maga bathanga --> Here are the corpses.

Caster can activate this Noble Phantasm by writing these letters on his cloth Noble Phantasm to form a pair "Wayang", the traditional Malay leather puppet show, which represents his servants, Dora and Sembodo. These wayangs don't manifest as Servant spirits, they are instead 'played' on the shadow that can be cast anywhere on the cloth. Caster can command and control these ‘shadows’ freely, and serves as familiars for him. These ‘shadows’ wields the Kris Pusaka, a Noble Phantasm that Caster would possess if summoned as Saber, Caster himself had allowed them to wield it as a reward for their service.

    Kris Pusaka
    King’s Heirloom of Miscomunication
    Rank : C
    Type : Anti-Unit
A Noble Phantasm that Caster cannot use, but is instead wielded by his 2 servants, Dora and Sembodo. It is a medium sized Kris in the size of a hunting knife. As a Noble Phantasm, this Kris is incredibly sharp and durable, the special power of this Noble Phantasm is the ability cause ‘misunderstanding’ between Master and Servant. When a Servant is struct by this Kris, an effect that overrides the command from a Command Spell will be applied to the Servant, made as if the Servant’s Master itself had used another Command Spell. If a Command Spell has been used by the Servant’s Master, then the effect that is applied would contradict with the Master’s command, which will cause a misunderstanding that may be advantageous to Caster. A MGI check or magic or mental interference resistance is needed to resist the effect of this Noble Phantasm.

    History
Aji Saka is a Javanese legend that tells the story of how civilization came to Java, brought by legendary first king of Java named Aji Saka, and the mythical story of Javanese script origin.

    Origin

Aji Saka is said to come from Bhumi Majeti, a mythical location in Jambudvipa (India). His name comes from the Javanese word saka or soko meaning essential, important, or in this case primordial. Thus the name Aji Saka literally means "primordial king". A more modern interpretation derives his name from the Saka or Indo-Scythians. In either case, the legend is viewed as symbolising the advent of Dharmic Hindu-Buddhist civilization in Java. The legend also holds that Aji Saka was the inventor of the Saka year, or at least the first king that initiated the adoption of this Hindu calendar system in Java. The kingdom of Medang Kamulan was probably linked to the historical Medang Kingdom. The story of Aji Saka defeating a man-eating king has also been interpreted as the downfall of an unpopular local ruler, the rise from cannibalism to civilisation, and perhaps also resistance to Indian faiths by the ruling class.

    The pacification of Java

Soon after the gods created and nailed the island of Java to its place, the island become habitable. However the first race that rule the island was the race of denawa (giant demon) that repressed all creatures and ate humans. The first kingdom in Java was Medang Kamulan, and the king was the Giant King Dewata Cengkar, the cruel King of the country who had a habit to eat human flesh of his own people.

One day came a young wise man, by the name of Aji Saka to fight Dewata Cengkar. Aji Saka himself came from Bumi Majeti. One day he told his two servants, by the name of Dora and Sembodo, that he was going to Java. He told them that while he was away, both of them have to guard his Pusaka (heirloom). No one except Aji Saka himself allowed to take the Pusaka. After arriving in Java, Aji Saka moved inland to the kingdom of Medang Kamulan. In the big battle, Aji Saka could successfully push Dewata Cengkar to fall to the Javan Southern Sea (Indian Ocean). Dewata Cengkar did not die, he became a Bajul Putih (White Crocodile). Aji Saka became a ruler of Medang Kamulan.

The tale of a giant snake

Meanwhile, a woman from the village of Dadapan, found an egg. She put the egg in her lumbung (rice barn). After a certain period the egg vanished, instead a snake found in the rice barn. The villagers would like to kill the snake, but the snake said : "I'm the son of Aji Saka, bring me to him". Aji Saka told the snake, that he would be recognized as his son, if he could kill the Bajul Putih in the South Sea. After a long stormy battle which both sides demonstrating physical strength and showing skillful ability of fighting, the snake could kill Bajul Putih.

As had been promised the snake was recognized as Aji Saka's son and he was given a name Jaka Linglung (a stupid boy). In the palace Jaka Linglung greedily ate domestic pets of the palace. He was punished by the King, expelling him to live in the Jungle of Pesanga. He was tightly roped until he could not move his head. He was instructed only to eat things which fall to his mouth.

One day, a group of nine village boys were playing around in that Jungle. Suddenly it was raining heavily. They had to find a shelter, luckily there was a cave. Only eight boys went inside the cave, the other one who was suffering from a very bad skin disease, his skin was stinging and he was dirty, he had to stay out of the cave. All of a sudden, the cave fell apart, The eight boys vanished, only the one who stayed outside was safe. The cave in fact was the mouth of Jaka Linglung.

    The origin of Javanese script

Meanwhile, after becoming ruler of the Medang Kamulan kingdom, Aji Saka sent a messenger back home to inform his faithful servants Dora and Sembodo, to bring the pusoko (heirloom) to Java and send them to Aji Saka. Then Dora came to Sembodo and told Aji Saka's order. Sembodo refused since he clearly remembered Aji Saka previous order: no one except Aji Saka himself was allowed to take the pusoko. Dora and Sembodo each felt suspicious towards another, and suspecting each other tried to steal the pusoko. So they fight each other to death. Aji Saka that was curious of why it is taken so long for the two to come to Java, finally came home himself only to discover the body of his two faithful servants and the terrible misunderstanding among them. To remember the faithful acts of his two servants, Aji Saka composed a poem that later become the origin of hanacaraka Javanese script. The Javanese alphabet itself forms a poem, and a perfect pangram, of which the line-by-line translation is as follows :

Hana caraka There (were) two messengers
data sawala (They) had animosity (among each other)
padha jayanya (They were) equally powerful (in fight)
maga bathanga Here are the corpses.

    in detail:

    hana / ana = there were/was
caraka = messenger (actually, 'one who is loyal to and trusted by someone')
    data = have/has
sawala = difference (regarding a matter)
    padha = same, equal
jayanya = 'their power', 'jaya' could mean 'glory' as well
    maga = 'here'
    bathanga = corpses

Well this guy certainly isn't a squishy wizard. Why are his physical stats so high though? It's not like he's a non-spellcasting Caster that uses other methodologies.

But otherwise it's a nice sheet.

I especially like how all three of his NPs have to be used together and in sequence.

Question about Dentawiyanjana though. So can the literal shadow familiars only exist on the cloth or can he move them off after forming them on it?

"I waited. For twenty years, I waited. Don't even think about trying my patience, because I don't have any left."

    Archer
    Penelope

    Alignment: Lawful Good
    STR: D+
    END: B
    AGI: D
    MAG: C
    LUCK: A+
    NP: A+

    Class Skills

    Independent Action (B+):
The ability to remain independent even when rejecting the Magical Energy supply from one's Master. At higher ranks, it is also possible to remain for extended periods of time in this world without an established contract. It is both useful and troublesome depending on the disposition of the Servant and the rank of Independent Action. Acting in autonomy from the Master's Magical Energy supply, the Master can concentrate their own Magical Energy on large spells, or the Servant will be fine even in the case they are unable to supply Magical Energy due to injury. The downside is that they can be harder to control and keep by their side, making the only true way to command them is by utilizing Command Spells. Penelope can remain in the world, under ideal conditions, for a week without outside mana supplies.

Magic Resistance (C): Grants protection against magical effects. Differing from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. Cancel spells with a chant below two verses. Cannot defend against magecraft on the level of High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals

    Personal Skills

    Territory Creation (B):
A Caster-class Skill. It is the Skill to build a special terrain that is advantageous to oneself as a magus, such as for the purpose of collecting mana. Can create a ‘workshop’. Despite not being a Caster class Servant, Penelope possesses this skill as a side-effect of her Territory Defence skill.

Territory Defence (A): Related to the Territory Creation skill, this is the ability to defend territory from harm during defensive battles. As one who guarded her husband’s home and domain for the entirety of his absence, this could be said to be the trademark Skill of Penelope. Whilst fighting in her workshop, all of her stats are increased, and her wounds will slowly regenerate over time.

Divine Defiance (C): The power of one who acts in separation of the gods. Grants a defensive bonus against enemies with the ‘Divine’ trait, and allows Penelope to resist mental and physical attacks from Divine Constructs. Due to her sometimes strained relationship with Athena, her husband’s patron goddess, Penelope has a middling rank in this skill, her and Athena’s motives rarely coinciding.

    Noble Phantasms

    Dodeka Velos
    Shooting Through Twelve

    Anti-Squadron, B:
The great bow of Odysseus, that only he could supposedly string and fire, capable of shooting through twelve axeheads with its great ballista-bolt of an arrow. Such are the legends of the power required to string it that merely holding it in one’s hand causes a rank up in Strength. When fired, the arrows massive penetrating power, able to even pierce through stone, and the arrows can divide in midair to strike twelve different targets. Due to Penelope’s inexperience, however, she can only hit six targets at once.

"Did you think I spent all that time doing nothing? I can fight too, Master."

    Chronos Warp and Weft
I Will Await Your Return, Even For Twenty Years

Anti-Time, A+: Penelope’s ultimate Noble Phantasm, an ornate burial shroud that she wove for her father-in-law, symbolizing her twenty year wait for Odysseus to return home. Swearing to her many suitors that she would not remarry until it was finished, she would secretly unpick her work each night to trick them into waiting alongside her. The shroud has thus become the embodiment of twenty years, with its level of completion representing the passage of time along those years. By weaving and unwinding it, Penelope can perform a feat on the level of True Magic: manipulating the flow of time. By declaring its true name, Penelope can move an object along its timeline for a maximum duration of twenty years. Wood and stone will crumble to dust after twenty years of rapid decay have passed, seeds will grow into mighty trees, and by using it on a person, she can, depending on their age, return them to their childhood or age them into senility. Such is her precision with this ability that she can manipulate time down to seconds, reversing time to heal wounds by undoing them, and accelerating projectiles into the future to increase their speed and power.

    Lore
    Likes: Olive trees
    Dislikes: Being made to wait
    Talents: Weaving, lying, archery
    Natural Enemy: Circe, Calypso, Nausicaa

Archer is Penelope, the wife of Odysseus and Queen of Ithaca from the Iliad and Odyssey, most famous for patiently awaiting her husband’s return for twenty years despite a home invasion of various suitors who wished to woo the alleged widow. After her husband’s death, she married Telegonus, his son by the witch Circe.

An ‘ideal housewife’ type, her demure and queenly bearing hides a fierce and fiery spirit. Though her typical class is Caster, and she retains the Territory Creation skill even outside it, she has been summoned as an Archer, having, during her husband’s absence, trained herself to wield his great bow in combat. (“A queen must be able to defend her lands in her spouse’s absence”). She prefers being an Archer to Caster, as she has no knowledge of magic, and would simply have to rely on her weaving in battle. The two decades of waiting have left her a little cynical and sarcastic, and she dislikes the gods, due to their interferences in both her and Odysseus’s lives.

She also hates the women, namely Circe and Calypso, who took advantage of Odysseus during his journey, and will likely target them first if they show themselves before her in a war.

How could I not be here? Battle between legends? A display of martial skill, great mysteries clashing, epic deeds witnessed? Why, to not record such a thing would be the greatest travesty of them all.

    Class: Caster
True Name: Ō no Yasumaro, Chronicler of Gods and Emperors
    Alignment: True Neutral
    Place of Origin: Japan

    Height: 1.60m
    Weight: 50kg
Likes: history, travelling, folk tales, Hieda no Abe
Dislikes: ignorance, prejudice, people dismissing legends
    Talent: swordsmanship, storytelling
    Natural Enemy: Oda Nobunaga
    Attribute: Man
Traits: Culture Crafter, Father of Shinto, Imperial Chronicler,
Armament: Jōkotō stylized as a quill
    Catalyst: Kojiki, Nihongi

    Personality:

A travelled, well cultured man one would expect on the Imperial Court. Yasumaro is a soft spoken man in love with past, fascinated by history and completely disinterested with politics. Perhaps it was for that reason it was him, and not Hieda no Abe, that went out into Japan and collected the stories for the new records.

He applauds people with vision, those who strive for dreams too big for a common man, for in his eyes they are worthy of being immortalised. He is not only passionate about history, but will actually be offended by one's lack of knowledge, no matter the circumstances.

While amazed with progress of the modern era, he absolutely despises the lack of new legends in the making. For him, to remain among common people, to go through politics just for power and not for vision is absolute waste of potential.

If he were to claim the Holy Grail, Yasumaro would usher back a new Age of Gods, so that legendary deeds and people grater than life begun appearing once more, filling the pages of history with their great deeds. He is completely aware that his wish would mean countless deaths and throw the world into chaos, but he cares little for it. For Yasumaro, there is no greater sin than mediocrity.

    Class Skills:

    Item Construction: D
Skill to manufacture magical items, from implements of war to items for daily use. Caster can create simple mystical trinkets such as amulets protecting against the simplest of spells and weak binding ofuda. Not much, but it was apparently all he ever needed.

    Territory Creation: -
Skill to build a special terrain that is advantageous to oneself as a magus. Caster never had a need for personal workshop and thus, doesn't posses any skill in making one.

    Personal Skills:

Affection of Gods and Youkai: A
Skill denoting one being though of fondly by both gods and youkai. Travelling through Japan, categorizing youkai and gods alike and compiling records of the great deeds of ancestors of Japan, Caster proved his dedication to immortalizing both sides of divide manyfold. Blessing of Takama-ga-hara shields his mind from all unnatural influences, while blessings of youkai kind shield his body from poisons and curses.

Be polite. Be respectful. But never, ever so much as appear to be sucking-up. They hate false reverence.

    Discernment of Divine: A
Skill denoting one, who sees difference between Divine Spirits and all others and is able to accurately describe them. At this rank, Caster has a chance of discerning identity of a Servant with Divine ancestry with a mere glance, the higher the rank of their Divinity, the more probable the discovery.

Before Caster's time, Shinto was merely a word for all the native beliefs and worships of Japan. He was the one to travel across the islands, meeting with gods and then putting them into his chronicles, creating the official pantheon of Japan.

Reverence. Fear. They are very similar. That is why sometimes great youkai and gods get mixed up. To separate the truth from the legend is a tricky business.

    High Speed Divine Words: B
The language of the Age of Gods, back when words played a heavy role in spellcasting. As such, it is power long lost by modern magi. It is particularly useful for direct attack magic. Uninitiated in the ways of gods, Caster should not posess such a skill, and definitely not at this rank, but blessings of Takama-ga-hara for his role in institutionalizing of Shinto grant him definitive knowledge of divine magics. Caster is particularly skilled at utilizing fire, water and lightning.

I praise the radiant goddess, Amaterasu-ōmikami and steadfast Takehaya Susanoo-no-Mikoto! This is their might that I wield!

    Noble Phantasms:

    Records of Ancient Matters
    Kojiki

    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank: A

What was lost, I recovered. What was unclear, I specified. Those are The Records of Those Ancient Matters. Kojiki.

Yasumaro's first grand work, collaborated on with Hieda no Abe. It was Yasumaro who wandered Japan, collecting material for their chronicle and then retelling all he saw to Abe. It details various gods, foundation of Japan, exploits of Emperor Jimmu and tellings of lives of the next 32 emperors. As a Noble Phantasm, Kojiki splits into three separate abilities, reflecting its volumes:

    • Kamitsumaki – By intoning name of retelling of Age of Gods in Japan, Caster's sword transform into replica of Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi, which rises his physical parameters by one rank and has ability to convert mana into holy wind.
    • Nakatsumaki – Caster begins retelling of legend of Emperor Jimmu, trapping his opponent in illusion, where they are convinced they are fighting legendary emperor himself. Skill granting mental protection and Magic Resistance cannot dispel this illusion, only lowering Jimmu's illusionary might in half. However, Caster must be careful, as entire battle plays only in his opponent's mind, with body still following their commands, which means he can still be hit by them if they get too close.
    • Shimotsumaki – The odd one out, as it is active from the very moment Yasumaro is summoned. Due to little information about reign of 32 Emperors of Japan, Caster is most probably the only one knowing anything about them and so, he acts as a conduit of their stories. He gains equivalent of EX-ranked Imperial Privilege, allowing him to assume any skill that he can reason was possessed by one the 33 early Emperors of Japan.

    Chronicles of Japan
    Nihon-Shoki

    Type: Summoning
    Rank: B

Let me tell you a story of...

Just as Kojiki centres mostly around main pantheon of Shinto and history of Japanese Emperors, Nihon-Shoki is full of mythological tales and legends, from the creation myth all the way to 8th century, gathered into single national compilation. Despite already having created the greatest work of literature to date, Yasumaro gladly accepted request of Prince Toneri to gather more details and more stories, and so, wandered back into Japan's villages, hermitages and youkais' hiding places to collect their tales.

Nihon-Shoki allows Caster to summon shades of legendary beings recorded within book's pages with short incantation in the form of brief summary of their stories. Those summoned shadows possess all skills of originals, but their physical parameters suffer decrease of two ranks. If the story belongs to hero that could be legitimately summoned into Holy Grail War, the shadow will actually possess intelligence and personality, albeit their potential Noble Phantasms won't be present, as full summoning of a Servant is beyond Yasumaro's power.

    Lore

Ō no Yasumaro, a nobleman, bureaucrat and chronicler at the court of Empress Genmei, who collaborated with Hieda no Abe and Prince Toneri on Kojiki and Nihon-Shoki, two of the oldest surviving chronicles and mythology compilations in Japan. Besides those two things, there is little known about his life. While his two great books are not in fact the actual oldest, the true claimants burned during Isshi Incident. It was Yasumaro's work to recover as much of what was lost as possible, while also gathering myths for official, national mythology.

He is often linked with Ō no Honji who fought in Jinshin War, but honestly, it is not impossible to actually have him participate in that war and still live long enough to compile his works...

Edit: After Express' critique, I got rid of Uncrowned Arts Mastership and lowered STR and AGI one rank.

Yasumaro: This is a really cool and creative sheet, for a historic figure I never heard of before at that. The quotes add a lot of flavor. He actually sounds like a very powerful Caster, particularly given his melee aptitude.

Thanks for the praise! Honestly, Yasumaro's sheet was a clusterfuck of weird tangents and sudden inspirations that somehow resolved into something neat.

I mean, it begun when, after making Abe no Seimei I wanted another Japanese Caster. But who? My brain went to Shinto, which went to Kojiki, which led to research. And then I had to actually fluff out what those skills do (or why he has them) and what his NPs do :V

Also, the lines I write for Servants are always the last minute addition. Like, literally as I am editing out the sheet for posting, I come up with something for them to say about skill/NP that seems to me in-character and write it in.

Well the piecemeal nature of your inspiration does shows. This sheet seriously seems like you're trying to stuff way too many aspects into one little package.

I mean this guy has High Speed Divine Words, the ability to summon a holy swords + the strength (in a Caster) and the skill to use it, the ability to ignore the defensive Skills specifically there for defending against Mental Attacks, and the ability to summon almost servant familiars with servant level Skills and Stats (I don't care but even straight E's across the board is still servant level stats) without apparent hard limits.

Also somehow his Uncrowned Arms Mastery is even better than Karna's version for...reasons.

Thanks for the criticism, here are the answers:

About UAM, which Karna is the only canon example of. I logic that in his case the reason why it stops working after his name is revealed is because his enemy can just ask the Grail who this guy is now that they got a name. And the Grail gives them a really impressive resume of one of India's major heroes. In Yasumaro's case all they would get from the grail is "He wrote books, lol." It's there because I partially fused Yasumaro with his (suspected) father who fought in Jinshin War to flesh him out and since he isn't recognised for fighting ability, I decided to give him a skill to reflect that.

TLDR it's more a skill making enemy underestimate you than anything and Yasumaro certainly isn't Kojiro level of sword-play, but I included it so that he has something to keep all those magic resistant melee monsters from stomping him into the ground.

High Speed Divine Words looks really impressive until you remember that 4 classes have Magic Resistance as a guaranteed class skill and he isn't a master like Medea.

Mental defence ignoring ability... I think you are complaining about fighting the Jimmu part of Noble Phantasm. I will admit that I made it with ignoring mental defences in mind, partly because those things never seem to come into play anyway (and even in this case it doesn't completely ignore them as it gets weakened by them). Besides I think that him having to watch out or get hit by a stray hit from his opponent is enough of a weakness, especially as he has to stay close enough to clearly recite them the story.

It's not actually ability to summon holy swords. What Kamitsumaki does is create replica that technically has the same properties as that one sword, but its offensive power is actually rank or two lower than genuine article (I didn't decide which). He doesn't have the skill to use it, because holy wind making is the most basic (and stat increase is a passive), obvious use of Ame-no-Murakumo and as a Noble Phantasm of great significance you can bet it has other uses. Yasumaro has the access to the most basic stuff which is out there in the tale in which the sword appears. Besides, both transformation and actual use of this Mana Burst (Wind) are hell of mana hog.

The second NP (aka summoning one) isn't genuine summoning, but more like create falsificates that happen to have the same skills as their original. What made you mistake it for actual summoning is probably mention that if one of his shades is a story of a person who is legitimately on the Throne, he can put more information into it, basically making a significantly weaker clone of actual heroic spirit. Also, my mistake was probably in not including any information about mana costs for summons. Obviously, summoning some random, minor oni would be dirt cheap compared to summoning, for example, copy of Urashima Taro.

Ergo, Yasumaru's strenght is in sheer variety of tactics he employs and three of them are effects of Noble Phantasms, which leaves him with HSDW (which won't even work on most of his opponents) and sword-play (which he is average/slightly above average at).

It's a Caster that's extremely obscure whose Noble Phantasms are basically Dumas' and Shakespeare's "but not" and it has a distinctly Knight Class skill without having seemingly any history in combat themselves at all.
Karna has UAM for extremely well thought-out and canon reasons. The whole point of HS's is that none of them are supposed to be obscure enough to have a skill based solely on their obscurity. I'd give him Information Erasure or something at a really low rank if you want him to be kind of sneaky.
Either way, agreeing with oneandonlyz in that he seems to have literally no downsides. Make him versatile if you want, but realistic and lower basically all of his parameters to E to balance it out.

I can't remember for certain but I'm assuming Yasumaru's lifetime was before Japan's Age of Gods ended? To me HSDW always seemed more of a environmental based condition (there's just so much mana around it's stupid) rather than a casting method. I mean even Tamamo, as an aspect of Amaterasu (lol whut), used Witchcraft instead being she was around much later.

That's fair. Okay then, I will get rid of UAM and lower physical parameters.

Fusing with his is father was done so he could have had more of backstory to him (and give him reason for having actual martial skill). I calculated his age, and if I wanted it, to participate in Jinshin War and write his two books, he would have to die at the age of ~70+, which was plausible enough.

But otherwise it's a nice sheet.

I especially like how all three of his NPs have to be used together and in sequence.

Question about Dentawiyanjana though. So can the literal shadow familiars only exist on the cloth or can he move them off after forming them on it?
    Thaks for the feedback!

Yeah, he is not a squishy wizard, among many versions of his legend, there are some which said that he wrestled the Giant Man-Eating King into the south sea. So I gave him these stats to reflect that.

About the question, because the cloth can extend infinitely, I imagine that the shadow-cloth familiars can 'move' on their own as long as they're still connected to the "main body" of the cloth.

My mind cannot keep up with these amount of sheets.

Also, I'm holding back my Kusuma Bangsa until 10th of November. Gives it time to sit down and get reviewed as well. Meanwhile, I'm going to try and squeeze out a Rider Hasanuddin sheet.

... And I think Javanese Magecraft should be changed into Witchcraft, with an added description over what kind of witchcraft it's actually is.

I know I said I wouldn't be fiddling with St. Maurice's NP anymore but, well...

I felt the suit of armor idea was still not quite the best way of showing the idea I had in mind, so I changed it a bit to make it more obvious he's channelling his legion into his own body. This should be the last update for real though, since now I have an Anzu and Fafnir sheet to be working on...

    Fergus mac Leti
    :
Not very similar to the Fergus we already know and love aside from having the same sword. Protection of the Lúchorpáin is a fitting skill as is the Mystic Face styled skill as well, we don't exactly see a lot of them.

The Golem of Prague: Caster of Black sends his regards. I wasn't sure how he'd qualify as a Heroic Spirit due to being, well, a Golem. Also not quite sure how it's a Berserker as it never went insane. Perhaps you could say it has Mad Enhancement (False) or something?

Aji Saka: Not sure if there's any justification for his parameters to be so high, I'd lower them quite considerably. I also think that his Javanese Magecraft could just be said to be a specific branch of Witchcraft or something due to being curse based.

Penelope: A part of me is almost a little disappointed the sheet wasn't going to be a dude like you said. She also seems as if she's better built to be a Caster but ya addressed that and got around that with the first NP as well. The sheet is well structured and kinda tells a story all by itself as well which is a nice touch.

Ō no Yasumaro: He seems to be a melee built Caster like Geronimo (but a bit better IMO), everything seems pretty great with this one. I agree with Royd that the quotes were a nice touch... which I'll go back and add to Theseus while I'm thinking about it.

Oh my God, the third NP quote for Theseus is hilariously dickish.

    Faceclaim

    Class: Saber
    Name: 塚原卜伝 (Tsukahara Bokuden)
    H/W: 190cm/100kg
    Alignment: Lawful Good
    Place of Origin: Japan
    Likes: Living Peacefully
    Dislikes: Violent Hotblooded Idiots
Natural Enemy: Any violent Hotblooded Idiot (so bassicaly half the existing canon)
    Abilities: Master Swordsmanship
    Armament: Standard Katana
    Catalyst: Any Eastern Sword

    STR: C
    END:A
    AGI:C+
    MANA: D+
    LUCK: B

Lore: Born Into a Shinto priest family, But soon joined the ranks of the samurai. He spent most of his childhood trying to learn martial arts. His real test would come when he foolishly (or bravely) challenged Ochiai Torazemon who he defeated. After that He went on a pilgrimage to learn from various teachers, occasionaly some of them were mages, and thaught him (Limited) use of magecraft such as a spell that heals wounds, On his pilgrimage he also challenged and defeated a total of thirty seven great swordsmen which made him one of the most famous people in all of japan.

Later in life he had calmed down, realising his own hot blooded nature he strived to be different from the other samurai, He oppened his own school of Swordsmanship after reciving a divine inspiration from Takemikazuchi No kami, The god of thunder and lightning.

By the end of his life he was regarded as a sword saint,a master of the sword, although he was enraged by injustice he strived to always follow his own no-sword-style to fighting stating that he only use violence in either self defense or when having to teach a hotblooded idiot a lesson.

By a popular story, Miyamoto Musashi challenged him to a fight and struck first. He was a able to block her (his??) sword with a lid of an iron kettle.

Personality: He is quite taciturn but nevertheless a nice guy, he will always try to get out of conflict. as a heroic spirit he always tries to use his noble phantasm as a last resort but won't hesistate to use it as such, He is filled with determination but is not naive and knows that he has to go through great lenghts to achieve his goal of peace.
his wish for the grail is to be reborn in modern day so that he could spread his teachings of peaceful resolution to conflict so that world could stand together should it face a threat more powerful than itself.

    Class skills:

    Riding: (C+)

    Magic resitance: (D-)

    Personal Skills:

    Divinity: (B)
He was a sword saint, while this should have originally should give him a C he also recieved divine inspiration from a god which Raised it by one rank.

    Affections of a god: (A)
Similar to Affections of the goddess but reserved more towards mortals who were favored by certain god. Takemikazuchi granted him with Divine inspiration which also made saber his avatar (although not the same level as Uesugi Kenshin who was avatar of bishamonten).
Ranks up all parameters by 1

    Peaceful Spirit: (B)
He always wanted to resorve conflict with words rather than violence, Grants bonus against Chaotic-Aligned enemies.

    Noble Phantasms:
The No hands Style of peace: (B)
The crystalization in form of saber's strugle to achieve peace through peaceful means and always resolve conflict with words rather than violence.
A noble phantasm that spawns itself as a field roughly three kilometers in diameter, anyone inside this field is immune from harm, but also cannot do any harm
This field lasts for 30 Minutes and it's effects can be negated by a high mad echantnment rank.

    Takemikazuchi no Shukufuku
The divine blade of the sword saint: (EX)
The power to resolve conflict through peaceful means
The power to smite down evil with a single slash
The blessed thunder sword of the takemikazuchi no kami i call upon thee!

A divine sword wielded by the god of thunder himself, Granted to Saber as a gift and a weapon to use to resolve conflict, it takes the shape of a massive 5 metre Nodachi from which' edge lightning pours out. It's destructive power is weaker when wielded by saber but still considerably strong. Besides its destructive power it can also calm down the minds of anyone who is in rage and anger by slashing said someone with the blunt part of the blade which causes no harm.
even saber himself refuses to use this if so possible, because of its destructive power which contradicts his peaceful nature and nearly consumes all of his Mana afterwards.

    Notes
I Bassicaly made him a tank with a potato cannon until he uses his Noble phantasm (the second one) and bassicaly tears shit to ground i sorta wanted to make him a peace maker of sorts that fights with deception and provocation rather than head on combat

also since im not from any english speaking country and im totaly bad at grammar feel free to point out any gramatical mistakes (which im sure there are alot of)

Bokuden: This is a pretty cool sheet. He sounds like an interesting character with the whole "pacifist swordsman" vibe (wonder how he'd get along with my William Penn?) and his Skills and NPs generally fit. I have a few critiques though. First, Peaceful Spirit could probably be changed to Vitrification while still capturing the same concept, especially since the current effect isn't all too related to "peace" anyways. And Affections Of The Goddess ranks up parameters so if his version is anything similar, you should probably note it in the description. It would also be nice to explain the + and - modifiers in Riding and Magic Resistance.

His first NP feels way too powerful. It sounds like it's constantly active and even if not, there's pretty much no limitations on him using it or ways to bypass it. Essentially, the second NP is pretty much a waste since with this there's absolutely no reason he could be forced to fight and his very presence basically nullifies the point of the Holy Grail War. I'd strongly suggest adding some limit(s), like having it only be active for a finite time, making it a mental interference effect that can be negated with the relevant Skills or having it only cancel attacks below a certain rank. As is it's way too OP, particularly since it's not even supposed to be his primary NP.

Takemikazuchi being more powerful then Excalibur also seems like unnecessary wank, but I'll forgive it since it was a weapon literally wielded by a god.

There is nothing stopping people and servants from walking out of the no harm field but I quess I can make it limited time.

As for second one... Yeah I did go overboard I sorta balanced it with him refusing to use it and it being limited by Takemikazuchi but I quess I'm gonna go the usual way of "consumes a shitload of Mana".

As for affections has the same function I just didn't state it here.

As for his class skills C would be unmodified but because samurai were expert horsemen I added a plus because putting anything above C for a heroic spirit that is not remembered for riding something felt half assed.
And for magic resistance well I would put E because he never faced magic in his life (against him) but because he is a sword saint and has divinity I placed it at D-

    So...for some comparisons.

Excalibur is Rank A++ and is literally some sort of planetary level defense laser.
Photon Ray is Rank A++ and is literally the Sword of the God later known as Ares/Mars what have you.

This sword here is several dozen times more powerful than a key component of Gaia's Counter Force used for taking down Eldritch Abominations and Alien God Machines or the Panoply of another major (at least peer level) God.

So...Nippon Ichiban? Katanas are just better?

Really using Excalibur as a frame of comparison is almost as bad as using Ea as a frame of comparison. It's supposed to be kind of special.
