Oh look, another Gudaguda. Very excited. Such original. Wow.
FGO Supports
Okay so JP is doing Gudaguda Neo Yamataikoku while NA is doing Gudaguda regular Yamataikoku?
burn your dread you coward
They start on the same day.
So Himiko, I understand that she's a pseudo-historical figure who's basically only attested to in one or two Chinese documents about Japan. But is it true some historians think she might have been the inspiration for Amaterasu?
To my knowledge, one of the figures Himiko is possibly identified is the daughter of Emperor Suinin, Yamatohime-no-mikoto who is the one who supposedly established the Ise Grand Shrine where Amaterasu is enshrined.
But feel free to correct me if I had misunderstood any of that. Now Amaterasu instructed Yamato-hime no Mikoto, saying:—"The province of Ise, of the divine wind, is the land whither repair the waves from the eternal world, the successive waves. It is a secluded and pleasant land. In this land I wish to dwell." In compliance, therefore, with the instruction of the Great Goddess, a shrine was erected to her in the province of Ise. Accordingly an Abstinence Palace was built at Kaha-kami in Isuzu. This was called the palace of Iso. It was there that Amaterasu first descended from Heaven.

Calling Himiko pseudo-historical doesn’t seat right. Chinese records made during her time said she was the queen of Japan from 189 to 248. Then in 711 the Japan made first written record of their history (the Kojiki) and failed to mention her. Aside from being written 500 years after her time, the Kojiki is also a very mythological text written in the spirit of propaganda, so we should consider the contemporary records from an uninvested third party as the more trustworthy source.
I've run into a bunch of modern fantasy that have Himiko as Amaterasu's daughter.

FF XIV: Walked to the End
Started Legend of the Galactic Heroes (14/07/23), pray for me.
Really? All I can think of is Hidan no Aria.
shit BL says
Once and always and nevermore.
Himiko-den would be another. Or wait, you meant just as her as Amaterasu's daughter not just used in fantasy stories, nevermind.
Very excited, Himiko is a target for me for many reasons.

Nobukatsu NP5. Reminder that even though he's in the FP gacha, he is still limited-time.
I present to anyone who is going for Himiko, my catalyst that got me the priestess win.
Since the Shinsengumi feature in this event I figure I'll link this, a manga adaptation of Okita's interlude by the Type Redline artist. So some backstory on the Shinsengumi we meet in this event. **************dex.org/chapter/ea7d0c6...607e1c349335/1
As a Spanish-speaker the loc Futuro/Futura for Mirai-kun/Mirai-chan sounded funny at first but I quickly ended up liking it quite a bit unironically, although all this sudden honorific allergy certainly clashes with previous TL choices.
Being called a "fiery red-haired young lady" by Turtle-niisan was kinda surprising but nice too, I don't recall any mentions of the different hair colors per gender until now?
Rolled this morning, managed to get something beyond my comprehension of my luck. Japanese pixel figures seems to love me.
From 16 tickets and 60 SQs
NP1 Beo from tickets
NP1 Himiko from last multi
This is actually mirroring my luck from the Okita rolls, especially since I got both Okita and Himiko after 2 SQ multis. In the next Gudaguda, I should just gamble all my funds.
