    Oh, right. Forgot you could do that.
    We knew the forum would not be the same. A few people , a few people , most people were . I remembered the line from the Nasu scripture, the Fate/Complete Material... "Now, I am become Death, the derailer of threads."

    But you don't need to eat people. You can just fuck and fuck and fuck.

    I mean, it is based off of mana and not exp.

    That's a possibility, too, given the right Master. But since there's no dragon reactor to jump start, the Master would need to be absolutely inhuman in both magical capacity and sexual stamina. The only reason sex in FSN was so potent is because Saber is speshul.

    Ha, with Illya as a Master he could probably just stand around doing nothing and level up. Ah, but that's also one of the the joys of Disgaea. At least, after they came up with the Honor Student Club.

Yeah, Arturia is screwed though.
    Potions don't work unless they're taken after the damage is, but gil has dat luk rank so half the dot hits would be misses, and that's if he doesn't pull out an anti future magic shield. Iskander has the same deal, but the both of them have to finish the fight fast before the damage piles up and cripples them. Also iskander has his spear throwers so he could feasibly spam range from beyond the 7m perimeter and not get hit. Gil could gob but i assume he would idiot ball for enough time to get hit against such a weak servant.

    Arturia gets a horrible deal because her luck offsets negligent damage and she has no bravery skill to speak of. Unless she excaliburs from afar (which she has no moral or realistic reason to) close quarter combat will get her crippled and pwnt. But she still has a chance with avalon and/or instinct. However, dionysus can always run home and rest to full hp and try again so it would be best not to melee too many times with him.

    Dionysus is essentially the asshole gank, waits for you to spawn, casts a horrible debuff, goes for the critical attack and if he fails he runs away to heal up. Then comes back to try again.

    I3uster: Well, to my understanding, Ekalavya/Palgunadi is merely almost as strong & skillful as Arjuna, not exceeding him (it is the fact that he did this essentially by training by himself compared to the pampered and meticulously prepared Arjuna that really seals it for me). It's really his ring that tips the balance a lot to his favor (basically he won't die when Arjuna killed him but he only need to kill Arjuna once), and once Krishna transferred the ring to Arjuna (in the Javanese story), then Arjuna became really imba. And it's B+ because of Fake Danurveda, which boosts his physical attributes when activated.

    Petrikow: Grabbed one real quick at devart, not many decent non-wayang art of Ekalavya. And yes, I acknowledge that Kakawin Bhatarayuddha has its own goods and bads, and let's leave it at that.

    G-Man: If such a thing happened, I believe that Ekalavya the Hindi will be more powerful than Palgunadi the Javanese as well as being a bit different. There are more than a billion people in the Indian subcontinent versus about 100 million-ish in Java, i think the 'faith of legend power' contributing to their legend will make the difference quite clear.

    Also, I'm pulling this out of my head after a friend pitched the idea to Twitter (I don't see real people as Servants here, is that a no-no? Please tell me if it is!). Not really a serious effort.

    Adam Savage
    "FOR SCIENCE! MWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

    Image (c)phan_tom@devart

    The Original Mythbuster, alongside his colleague and friend Jamie Hyneman.
    This man is driven by a singular goal: to either bust or confirm all myths in the world, one myth at a time. Not knowing that his family is actually a family of mages, he plod on in deconstructing and debunking the very myths that construct the world. Quietly branded as a lost cause, he left the family to strike out on his own path. However, try as he might to run from his birthright, Adam soon discovers that he cannot fully shake it. Not to be discouraged, he turns his birthright inward and built a grand path of legacy, paved by the corpses of countless broken myths...

    Possible Class: Caster
    Master: ???

    Parameters:
    * Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
    * Noble Phantasm: A
    * Strength: E
    * Endurance: E
    * Agility: E
    * Mana: B
    * Luck: C

    Class Skills:

    * Territory Creation B+
    This ability enables the creation of a high-quality workshop. Adam's ability is further augmented when he calls on his Noble Phantasm.

    * Item Crafting D+++

    Adam is skilled in crafting high-quality mundane items, but his skill in crafting magical items are sorely lacking by mage standards. However, once his Noble Phantasm is invoked, it changes.

    Personal Skills:

    * Librarian of Stored Knowledge C
    The ability that makes it possible for a clear recall of knowledge from memory with a successful Luck check, even if the information perceived in the past was not consciously acknowledged at the time. Adam has this skill regarding his well-versed knowledge on engineering and physics, to a degree that is almost instinctive.

    * Revelation N/A
    A sixth sense regarding all matters related to the achievement of a goal (for instance, choosing the most suitable path while traveling). Because there is no basis to it (or so he thinks), it cannot be explained to others clearly. Adam has this skill regarding his knowledge in physics.

    Noble Phantasms:

    * Buster [The Crash Dummy]
    Summoning/Support
    Rank C

    The crash dummy that had accompanied Adam through most of his myth-busting career. It has since been perfected into a highly durable android, with "Myth-busting Implements" built into it. It is highly resistant to damage, and can act with Adam's mental commands.

    * The Warehouse [Where Myths Crumble Down]
    Reality Marble
    Rank EX

    The strong desire that Adam has instilled in the original Mythbusters team (and eventually, the general populace) manifests in this Reality marble. When the phrase "I reject your reality and substitute my own!" is spoken, reality bends and transports Adam and his opponent(s) to his personal warehouse. It is a vast building with countless, endless shelves with various implements to build "Myth-busting Tools". Inside this warehouse, Adam can construct within seconds any manner of contraption that can replicate any myth (ironically, 'confirming' them) and effects, short of effects of True Magic itself. This warehouse also enables Adam to break down and debunk all myths about his enemies however improbable, thus reducing their power; However, debunking takes time and Adam is fairly vulnerable during the time needed. Use of myth-based phantasms is still possible but their effect is greatly diminished due to same debunking (which also takes some time). The Reality Marble also overrides all Reality Marbles invoked before or within it.

As neat as it is, it also sounds horribly counterproductive to summon him as a Servant.

    Romulus is actually fairly balanced. Sabers are supposed to be the best class after all so its okay to have a little OP in them. I actually like Romulus' NPs a lot. You put a lot of work into make them powerful without being too cheap.

    Cain works surprisingly well! Kind of wondering why he has Prana Burst though, even if it is related to his Mark.

    Welcome to the thread and congratulations on some very good profiles!

It sounds like you'd be better off summoning him well before the Grail War actually starts (his low stats mean the strain would be minimal) so he has time to grind out some NP-worthy blades. While its not Phantom Brave where weapons are pretty much everything, a good weapon can still go a long way in Disgaea. A month of farming low-level items (assuming it takes about as long for him as it does for the average player) for the Specialists and putting them on a decent sword and he's ready to go toe-to-toe with mid-range Servants.

    That... actually fits perfectly with the general mindset of characters in Disgaea! Edit: Though I have to wonder why he just can't kill the onsters in the Item World instead. you'd think they have more power than normal humans.

    Given he's a modern day Servant (and a Caster besides), I'd make all his physical stats Rank E personally. That and maybe nerf the warehouse a bit. Like, if Adam can point out the fallacies in how NPs function (lulz at him using physics to explain why Excaliblast is impossible) and the inconsistencies in a Servant's myth they suffer debuffs to their stats and NPs while in the warehouse. The stuff in the warehouse is purely there to rig weapons, traps, and repair Buster, who does all the main fighting while Adam hides. He'd need a powerful Master to fully exploit his Reality Marble due to his personally low Mana reserves, but he's a nightmare for enemy magi as he explains away all their magecraft, thus depriving their spells of the "mystery" that powers them.

    He should be a "Poof of Logic"-style threat to other Servants (someone like Sasaki, who didn't exist even in the Nasuverse, is pretty much screwed as he will literally talk them into nothingness as he "busts" his/her myth).

    Other than those nitpicks, he's surprisingly good. Incidentally, modern-day Servants are allowed in this thread. I did a joke one of the guy who piloted the Enola Gay, another poster did Arnold Swarschenegger (lol, I don't even care if I spelled that wrong), we've had Bruce Lee, Neil Armstrong, and I think one or two others. Its all in good fun!

    Well, I always thought he would be a pretty noticeable guy, not at all concealed. He'd have highish physical stats, abysmal luck and his main NP would be the mark, which would be always-on, like Godhand. And it would do exactly what the Genesis says - return death/harm seven times over, like a very improved Verg Avesta. I could only see him qualifying for the Berserker class, though. That was what I had in mind.

    MESSAGE FROM THE FUTURE: And here he is.

    I'm going with a tentative yes on the specialists. Though I'm not dead set on them functioning exactly like they do in Disgaea. I was trying to capture the Disgaea "spirit" while remaining true to Nasuverse mechanics, so I don't want to just port everything over outright. That's why I decided to make leveling mana-based instead of inventing an experience stat. Well, that, and because I wanted to tie leveling and transmigration together for balance reasons, and since transmigration in Disgaea costs "mana", I figured I'd make mine based off "mana" as well. Albeit a different kind, and indirectly.

    That... actually fits perfectly with the general mindset of characters in Disgaea! Edit: Though I have to wonder why he just can't kill the onsters in the Item World instead. you'd think they have more power than normal humans.
    Balance mostly. If I made it too easy to gain levels and transmigrate to the next class rank, I felt like it would lose some of that Disgaea feel, where everything seems like an impossible, endless grind at the beginning, where your weak characters are constantly on the brink of death, but then by the end everything gets easier and easier as you turn into an unstoppable force.

    If it helps, just handwave it away by saying that demons can only feed on humans, not other demons. I seem to remember something like that in Disgaea 4.

    Since Romulus was posted up, I think I'll show my own version of the two brothers; they're close enough together that I'm pretty sure they'd be summoned as one, really. Even on Wikipedia they're listed together.

    -----------------------

    Servant: Romulus and Remus
    Class: Caster (Can also be summoned as Rider, Berserker and Assassin)

    Background: Two of history's most famous twin brothers, Romulus and Remus are so tied together in their myths that they are summoned here as one and the same, a Servant brought forth not as a single person, but as two. They were two brothers, sons of Mars and a woman named Rhea Silva, but a king who had taken over their homeland of Alba Longa forced the sons to be abandoned in the Tiber River when they were born.

    As is possibly most well-known, they were found and raised by a large she-wolf and fed by a woodpecker; eventually they were found by a shepherd named Faustulus raised them, and the boys did not know of their highborn lineage. However, they were by nature charismatic, and when they finally learned who they were, they lead companies of men to kill Amulius, king of Alba Longa, and then built themselves a new city.

    The two brothers were split in their decision: Romulus wanted to found their city on the Palatine Hill, while Remus wished to build upon the Aventine Hill. Though they tried auguries to figure out which space was the better, nothing could be done to change the mind of either party. As a result, Remus ended up dead, killed by Romulus for traipsing about the boundaries of his city.

    Thus the city was founded on the Palatine Hill, and named Rome after Romulus himself.

    Class Skills:

    Territory Creation – EX

    • As a result of their Noble Phantasm; see related description.

    Item Creation – D

    • Simple magical weapons and items can be created with some effort.

    Personal Skills:

    Divinity – B

    • Romulus and Remus are descendants of Aeneas, son of Venus, and are themselves the sons of Mars.

    Expert of Many Specializations – C

    • An unusual skill for a single person, this skill is granted only as a result of Caster being two people. Grants the owner the use of six to eight normally specialized skill sets at C rank or higher. This Skill can be increased through effective use of the following Skill.

    Quick to Learn – B

    • The ability to understand new concepts, ideas and strategies with little expended effort. Since Romulus and Remus can hardly get along with each other, any gains they might find with this skill would likely be lost without significant compulsion. Still, it allows for them to have surprising insight into their own situations; like the above Skill, it is primarily a result of Caster being two different people who have access to the same information.

    Mystic Eyes (Depth Perception) – E-

    • Simple Mystic Eyes belonging to any regular human being. Perhaps Romulus and Remus could put their heads together and use this Skill to accurately judge the physical distance of an object or person, but most likely they would never come to that conclusion.

    Noble Phantasm(s):

    The Eternal CityConstruction of the Single DayEX
    ???

    In conjunction with (and resulting in!) their Territory Creation skill, Romulus and Remus are capable of a single grand ritual on the level of instantaneously creating an entire city large enough to house approximately one million people, often functioning as a large bounded field. They can use this magic for other purposes as well, however, and with it the realization of events at the level of True Magic is not just a possibility but a definite fact. This Noble Phantasm takes exactly one day to activate, along with the sacrifice of one of the two brothers.

    Stats:

    Strength - D
    Agility - D
    Magic - A
    Luck - C
    Endurance – D

    --------------------

    For Romulus and Remus, Rome was built in a day. :P

    "Oh mon ami pitoyable."

    An unnatural glow pierced the darkness that had enveloped Kariya for more than six months.

    "Permettez-moi de vous libérer de votre culpabilité, votre haine, votre amour..."

    'Who are you?', Kariya tried to say, but all that left his mouth were hoarse whispers, his voice
    in shambles after hours and days of screams, curses and pleas.

    "Me? Je suis votre ami, je suis ton épée, je suis ton destin. Mon nom est..."

    Gankutsuou

    Servant: Avenger

    Alignment: Lawful Evil
    Master: Matou Kariya

    Agility: D
    Mana: C
    Luck: A++

    Ruler of Gold - Spada's Legacy
    This skill in many aspects seem to blend the skills "Golden Rule"
    and "Imperial Priviledge", allowing its user to amass tremendous
    riches, make or break economies and attain influence on anything
    that is remotely connected with the flow of money.
    Therefore money or anything that represents value can also be used
    to temporarily gain skills or even gain control over NPs and conceptual
    weapons that exist in the present world.
    The effectivness of this skill
    is even further enhanced by a high Luck rank.

    We don't have enough pirates here.

    ----------------------------------

    Unless you know how to kill, don't try to rule killers.

    Rider
    Spirit: Ching Shih
    Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
    Strength: D
    Endurance: C
    Agility: B+
    Mana: D
    Luck: A+
    Noble Phantasm: A+

    Abilities:

    Riding
    The expertize to ride animals and vehicles.
    • B: Most vehicles can be handled with above average skill. However, cannot ride the likes of Phantasm Races such as Demonic Beast and Holy Beast-rank creatures.

    Territory Creation
    The skill to build a special terrain that is advantageous to oneself , not as a magus, but as a person who always planned her battles ahead and created a situation where she could only win.
    • B-: Can create a body of water large enough to hold an armada-sized naval combat. However, a source of salt-water is required.

    Details:

    The great pirate queen of the China Sea.

    A figure whose birth and real name were shrouded in the mysteries of time, Ching Shih was originally a prostitute working in Canton. During the turn of the century, she married a notorious local pirate-lord, Zheng Yi, who was on his way to become the founder of the alliance of pirates of Canton area. With her husband, Ching Shih suddenly found herself rising to the fame in the pirate world.

    With the alliance formed and the greatest criminal force seen in the seas having assembled under a single flag, the seas of China were no longer safe at all. The Red Flag Fleet was notoriously impossible to catch or beat in naval warfare. However, a tragedy fell when Zheng Yi died, after only few years of leading the force.

    Seeing her opportunity, Ching Shih seized the control of the Red Flag Fleet and thus became known as the woman with the greatest pirate force under her command. With an armada that could not be defeated by the Qing dynasty, Portuguese navy or the British navy, Ching Shih became known as the “Pirate Queen of China”, and rightfully so. She was cunning, wise and ruthless, knowing when to strike and when to lay low.

    When amnesty was granted for all pirates, Ching Shih saw her change. She retired with all the loot she had collected, and lived a remarkably uneventful life of leisure and uneventful days, running a gambling house that was still visited by the members of her former fleet.

    Skills:

    Charisma
    The natural talent to command an army. Increases the ability of allies during group battles. A rare talent.
    • B: Suitable for a king of a country. Or a queen of a pirate-country.

    Disengage (Army)
    The ability to break away from combat, even if it is a combat of armies rather than combat of individuals.
    • B: Bonus effect of returning battle conditions to what they were at the beginning of the match, while also restoring the strength of numbers in one’s own armada.

    Eye of the Mind (True)
    The heightened insight that was refined through experience.
    • D: Capable of calm analysis of battle conditions even when in danger and deduce an appropriate course of action after considering most possibilities to escape from a predicament. Not infallible.

    Military Tactics (Army)
    The tactical knowledge used not for one-on-one combat situations, but for battles where many are mobilized.
    • B+: Bonus modifiers are provided during use of one's own Anti-Army Noble Phantasm or when dealing against an enemy Anti-Army Noble Phantasm. A bonus is provided further if the opponent’s Noble Phantasm is also connected to water.

    Noble Phantasms:

    The Red Flag Fleet
    Title: Our Numbers shall Swallow the Seas
    Rank: A+
    Type: Anti-Army
    Range: -
    Maximum Target: 5000

    The infamous armada of the Pirate Queen Ching Shih, the Red Flag Fleet.

    Fiercely loyal and directed by strict code of honor and punishment, even from beyond the veil of time they appear to serve their mistress when she calls. When Rider releases the red sash on her wait and restores it to its true form as the flag of her own personal ship, it calls upon the feared armada as long as there is body of water nearby. As long as there is space to maneuver in the body of water, at least one ship will appear.

    Consisting of 1800 ships and 80 000 pirates, this is a true anti-army Noble Phantasm. All the ships are under Rider’s direct command, and her words can be heard in every ship. The ships can either focus their attack on one huge attack against a single enemy, which is when the “+” is added to the rank A damage, or they can divide their firepower.

    Not her greatest treasure, but what she considers rightfully hers and only hers. If Rider wasn’t like she is, perhaps calling this Noble Phantasm would be impossible.

    I want to make a Grace O'Malley so much, since she's one of the coolest pirates I know and an awesome Irish servant, but she would be almost exactly like Francis Drake.

    Yours is pretty neat, and her NP actually reminds me of what the Wild Hunt would probably be with a proper Character Material entry, so I liked seeing that fleshed out. I'd never heard of her story so she was a cool discovery. Tailoring her personal skills to Army versions was a surprise, but makes sense since she wouldn't really have as much one-on-one experience when you think about it.

    Challenge Accepted.

    Here's one; I deliberately picked someone relatively obscure who could still qualify as a Heroic Spirit. I knocked this out in about five minutes, so don't expect a work of art -- or something well-thought-out.

    Name: Rahmah ibn Jabir al-Jalahimah
    Class: Rider

    Strength: C
    Agility: C
    Endurance: D
    Mana: B
    Luck: A
    NP: B+

    Abilities:

    Riding: A+

    Magic Resistance: D

    Territory Creation: C. In his life, Rahmah always acted from a well-fortified position, most notably his stronghold in Qatar, which the British deemed to well-defended to attempt to attack. With this rank, he can create a "fortress" that is difficult for a Servant to enter.

    Charisma: B+. Despite being a Pirate, he made alliances with several nations, and himself became ruler of a small nation. The + Modifier only comes in when attempting to negotiate alliances.

    Bravery: B. He was described by Charles Belgrave as being without mercy or fear.

    Golden Rule: C. He is believed to be the most successful Pirate in history, when taken in terms of both wealth and not being executed.

    Noble Phantasms:

    Al-Manowar: The Great Ship of Mercy
    Rank: B+
    Type: Anti-Army

    The incarnation of all of the flagships that Rahmah used. Considered massive for its day, its sheer size is one of its strengths, along with its sheer durability, in keeping with Rahmah's skill with fortifications. While not as powerful as many ship-based Noble Phantasms, from within Al-Manowar Rahmah is capable of attacking with impunity utilizing its cannons. Despite its status as a "ridden" phantasm, the Prana cost for its use is actually quite low.

    Rahmah committed suicide in his flagship, detonating the stores of gunpowder to take out his attackers. As such, when used as a Broken Phantasm, its rank increases by two instead of one.

    Edit: the reason it's called the great ship of mercy is because "Rahmah" means "mercy" in Arabic.

    We knew the forum would not be the same. A few people , a few people , most people were . I remembered the line from the Nasu scripture, the Fate/Complete Material... "Now, I am become Death, the derailer of threads."

    Yeah, her thing is basically a Rider that specializes in naval combat and large-sized battles, not one-on-one stuff. Perhaps if summoned as Saber she would be something like that. Anyways, I tailored her pretty much to be the "evil(?)-foil" of Francis Drake. Would love to see the Wild Hunt and Red Flag Fleet go at it against each other, since both Riders could use their strengths to the fullest in a battle like that.
