If anyone's interested I did some more poking around and found something. Ok so I noticed that in FHA scriptfiles, they have a line of code in the beginning that says @setdaytime or @setnighttime and in some scenes (you can probably guess which ones) it will say @sethscene later on in the scene. I always wondered what these meant (I assumed it was programming parameters since RN has @setfatemode and @sethollowmode with Hollow mode being used for the scenes they added the flashy new effects to) but when I was poking through files I finally realized what those commands to: they change the text window. Yeah, surprised I never noticed but the text window changes depending on the type of scene you are in. Observe:
Casual SoL scenes (@setdaytime):
Plot scenes (@setnighttime):
H-scenes (@sethscene) [side note: Rider's bath scene has this command and window, so I guess it's considered an H-scene despite no sex actually happening] [side note 2: I love how this text window is the one that looks plain and normal. Does that mean H-scenes are the "main" scenes of the game since they have the normal looking window?]:
Ok so you might be asking, what's the point of this (other than me teasing and whoring out pics from Hollow)? Well one command I noticed that is never used is @setpooltime, obviously intended for the pool scenes. As you saw in my first example, they just use the @setdaytime text window for pool scenes, but they also made this window and left it in the game:
So I decided, Imma add it into the pool events. So it starts off as the @setdaytime window then changes to this one now around the point where Light Step starts playing and the waifu appears in swimsuit form. Here's some samples:
