Theories?
To the best of my memory, the top theory is that it's not in the correct proportions to be suspicious of much, and if you pick intersections in any grid layout city you can eventually get geometric shapes out of mere coincidence.

Oh yes, the other day I got super into a treasure hunt from the 80s that's famous for only 2 out if 12 treasures being found and the creator died in 2005 so it's doubtful everyone knows where they are. Treasure hunting across the ocean boils down to staring at google maps and looking up random tidbits of info to the point where you can't look at a map of New Orleans without seeing clocks everywhere and beeing sure you know where it is and everyone else is so stupid they're thinking in the wrong way ughh
