    Background
Lord Byron was a controversial figure during life. So controversial, in fact, that those with the worst opinions of him were the ones closest to him. Enter John Polidori.

Polidori was a young physician, only fresh out of medical school and 20 years old, when he was hired to be Lord Byron's personal doctor and to accompany him on a carriage trip around Europe. Being an aspiring writer himself, Polidori was ecstatic to get to travel with such a famous wordsmith. Unfortunately, the two... didn't get along. Polidori found Byron's antics and personality to be grating, while Byron, though he did attempt to be friendly towards Polidori, found that he couldn't stand how unfun the younger man was. He couldn't even jump, for heaven's sake.

Then came that fateful stay at Lake Geneva, where they were accompanied by Byron's friends Percy Bysshe Shelley, Mary Shelley and Claire Clairmont. Being trapped inside by the rain on that particular trip lead to a writing contest, and thus to the creation of one of the world's most famous tales of horror, Frankenstein. But, that wasn't the only modern iconic monster born on that night. No, no, you see, Polidori's own work, though not nearly as good as Shelley's, lead to something even more influential.

That trip, Polidori wrote The Vampyre, popularizing vampires in modern fiction and leading eventually to the creation of the likes of Dracula and Carmilla... even non-vampires like Edmond Dantes owe themselves to him. The story itself was based on a 'fragment' written by Byron in the past, and expanded upon by Polidori into the final form. Even after publication, the story was attributed to Byron instead of Polidori, angering them both (for differing reasons, rest assured). The connections to Byron run even deeper, however. The vampire in the story, Lord Ruthven, was a clear caricature of Byron from Polidori's perspective, a charming, disarming man of wealth who dragged a poor youth around Europe and seduced any woman with a pulse, eventually leading to the demise of all those he entered the lives of. And, as 'Lord Ruthven' is just 'Byron', it can be said that, in a way, 'Lord Byron is the origin of the vampire'.

But who believes in vampires, really?

    Lore
The truth is, Byron is not the Servant who was intended to be summoned. It was in fact Polidori himself. However, the poor soul didn't accrue enough notoriety in life, or even after death, to earn a place in the Throne, even considering his influence on culture by way of modernizing the vampire. The Vampyre essentially invented the concept of 'high class, charming men who seduce women to feast on their blood', a trope so integral to vampire mythology at this point it's essentially inseparable. And still, instead of Polidori, Byron appears, in an 'Alter' form that manifests all the traits of the 'Vampyre' Lord Ruthven. It seems that even in legacy, Byron is usurping Polidori's chance at recognition.

Or, perhaps, it's the World's admission that without Byron's influence, Polidori wouldn't have written The Vampyre in the first place, thus making him just as deserving of credit? Who truly is the 'vampyre' anyway, the parasite leeching off another for their energy, Byron, or the one who took a story written by somebody else, and made it into a scathing rebuke of that same person?

Regardless, the fact of the matter is that any attempt to summon Polidori (though why you'd want to is beyond me) will result instead in the summoning of Lord Byron (Alter).

As the manifestation of the negative opinions towards Byron by his contemporaries, he embodies all of those bad traits. Though he retains Byron's core qualities of 'charm' and 'social magnetism', making him as irresistible as ever despite everything, he is also manipulative, full of himself, without a care in his heart for the consequences his actions have on those around him, all while keeping a signature dry wit and personable demeanor. If he's showing generosity, it's in order to further some personal goal... yet still, he cannot escape his 'Byronic' qualities, showing pangs of regret for his misdeeds, even if only for the slightest of moments. He loves women, and men, and having a good time, no matter what that takes.

The other side of the coin that is 'Lord Byron (Alter)' is his embodiment of the modern vampire. Due to Lord Ruthven's massive influence on Dracula and Carmilla, he manifests with several skills similar to them, as well as a few of his own that end up making him a much stronger 'vampire' than they are, if not necessarily a stronger 'Servant'. He isn't harmed or even bothered by sunlight, holy symbols, garlic, what have you, but at the same time he cannot shapeshift. He requires much less blood to revitalize himself, and can even be healed in moonlight, but he lacks the more monstrous stats of, say, Vlad, and is not as good of an Assassin as Carmilla.

    Skills
    Class Skills
    Presence Concealment: C
He tends not to operate through 'stealth', despite his Class. Instead, he 'conceals' his nature as a vampire, making it harder than usual for one to discern his true abilities. It also acts as a passive debuff to the 'suspicions' of those around him, allowing him to easily worm his way into the lives of those he's chosen as targets.

    Personal Skills
    Battle Continuation: A (Contextual)
Normally, this Skill does not exist for Byron. However, when bathed in moonlight, it manifests at Rank A, as a form of 'healing factor'. Essentially, in the light of the moon, Byron simply cannot be killed. If he would be, his wounds are repaired and he is made good as new once again. This doesn't imply any increased durability, mind you, or even a resistance to pain. No, it's just that he's nigh-impossible to kill on a well lit night.

    Blood-Sucking: EX
As the modern origin of the fictional 'vampire', whose most signature trait is their thirst for blood, Byron is, by definition, going to be the 'best' at it, because he was the 'first'. He wouldn't let himself be summoned with the Skill any lower than the highest available rank. Thus, though he can still only suck blood via a bite, it's almost an 'instant kill', able to drain a normal human of their lifeforce in seconds and completely revitalize him. However, since most Servants won't be allowing him to simply bite them on a major artery, it's not particularly useful in direct combat.

    Innocent Monster: D
He will have the fangs of the vampire. Though even in The Vampyre, Lord Ruthven was never described as having them, they are as entwined with the 'modern image' as much as sucking blood is, and so one cannot exist without the other.

    Disarming Charisma: A
Different from the standard Charisma skill, this is more of Charisma in the sense of a social situation. Upon interaction with Byron, people will feel like he's trustworthy, even if they know his reputation, at least at first. Once he's gone, however, they will feel an inescapable sense of "that was a shady guy, wasn't it?" even if he was nothing but polite and elegant in conversation with them.

    Noble Phantasm
    Oath of the Vampyre
Swear by All Your Soul Reveres, by all Your Nature Fears

    Type: Conceptual Anti-Unit
    Rank: A
    Range: N/A
The Oath of the Vampire is perhaps one of the most 'absolute' of all Noble Phantasms, due in part to how deceptively simple it is. Always active, it essentially makes it so that one can never break their 'word' to Lord Byron. If they agree to something with Lord Byron, whether it's a promise to perform some action or something more complex, they've sworn an 'Oath', and as such will be completely unable to break that Oath. Even if it was an agreement given without thought, or they were lying through their teeth, the 'Oath' will stand and become immutable. This only applies to 'Oaths' that Byron himself 'initiates', mind you-- so if you say "I'll do anything you ask" to him, unprompted, it won't activate this Noble Phantasm's effects, and you won't be bound to do as you said.

There is no penalty for breaking an 'Oath' to Lord Byron, as you simply cannot do so. An Oath to Lord Byron is stronger than even an Oath to yourself... sometimes monsters don't need wings or claws or weapons, sometimes they need only words and a moment of weakness.

Byron: this is a very creative sheet. he sounds disgustingly charming and infuriatingly likable, like that one friend who is so good in social situations it's kind of annoying. Wonder how he would interact to my Mary Sheely.

Likely he'd try to get in good with her in order to use him for his own ends, but since he was friends with her in life he'd feel pretty bad about it. He'd still, you know, do it, but he'd proceed to go 'Woe is me, I am a monster, truly,' n shit.

    Lancer
“Woe to you, my Master, for summoning someone as pitiful as I...By a woman, too? Ugh.”

    Other Classes: Rider, (Avenger)
    Epithet: King of the Wood
    Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
    Place of Origin: Greece

    Likes: The hunt
    Dislikes: A clever woman
    Natural Enemy: Aphrodite
    Armament: Spear, a certain cloth
Catalyst: A faded note of his own misdeeds

    Parameters:
    STR: C
    END: C
    AGI: B
    MGI: D
    LCK: E
    NP: A

    Class Skills:
    Magic Resistance: C
Magic Resistance grants protection against magical effects. Differing from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether.

Cancel spells with a chant below two verses. Cannot defend against magecraft on the level of High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals.

    Divinity: C
Divinity is the measure of whether one has Divine Spirit aptitude or not. At high levels, one is treated as a mixed race of a Divine Spirit, and the level declines when the Heroic Spirit's own rank as a Monster or Demonic Beast raises.

Grandson of the gods Poseidon and Ares from either side of his family tree, respectively. Lancer was also deified upon his first death, though only as a local divinity.

    Personal Skills:
    Affection of the Goddess: A+
Affection of the Goddess is a Skill that denotes one being loved by a goddess.

Affection is from Artemis. A devout zealot of the great huntress; Lancer’s strong conviction towards his chosen goddess is the catalyst for the tragedy of his life story in the first place, and ultimately the cause of his death. Artemis returned his love, thankfully, breaking every single rule to return him to the world of the living…

Aside from Luck, all stats are Ranked-Up.

    Curse of Unrequited Love: B
A unique skill bestowed upon Lancer by Aphrodite. A curse in the same vein as the Love Spot of a certain Celtic hero, it is magecraft that activates when Lancer is viewed by a woman. Powerful pressure from the terrible Goddess of Love is applied to the victim, driving women in Lancer’s vicinity to madness.

The child of an Amazon, those whose beauty is said to be unmatched by anyone but the goddesses themselves. That being said, his personality is terrible. He broods too much. He talks back to his elders. He’s a horrendous misogynist. However, due to Aphrodite’s meddling, his belligerent nature is completely offset by the love others exhibit towards him. A true curse, as the one recipient of Lancer’s supposed charms during his life ended up killing herself because of him.

The effects can be offset by Magic Resistance.

    Instinct: C+
Instinct is the ability to instantly identify “the best personal course of action” during combat. Because this Skill allows for the prediction of trajectory, it is possible to avoid attacks from firearms.

The instincts of a hunter. He is constantly on edge, as one who is both predator and prey. His instincts are thus put completely into offensive maneuvers or defensive maneuvers, it seems he has trouble doing both at once. Modifiers applicable only when using his second Noble Phantasm.

    Noble Phantasm(s):
    Reparation for Her Death
    Pelt of the Divine Beast

    Type: Anti-Unit (Self)
    Rank: A
    Range: 1
    Max Target: 1

The pelt of the Nemean Lion, the Magical Beast once defeated by Heracles. Upon the conclusion of the first set of his Labors, Heracles was said to have left the pelt at the abode of Pittheus. There it was discovered by the child Theseus and his friends, who mistook it for a genuine living creature. The other children ran away in terror, only Theseus was brave enough to attack the lifeless pelt with an axe. Heracles, for what it was worth, found the event humorous.

But the events of Deiniara’s betrayal and the Shirt of Nessus were soon to take place. When Heracles ascended to the heavens, leaving his poisoned arrows behind to Philoctetes, the lion’s pelt went unclaimed. It was Theseus who later found it, taking the pelt back with him as a trophy and reminder of the adventures he had with his great cousin. Rather than putting it to practical use, the pelt was merely a decoration in Theseus’s home.

The pelt was stolen by Lancer after his return to life, as revenge for all of the injustices Theseus was responsible for. Though he told Artemis he refused to forgive his father, he still brought something of his along with him.

But this understanding is perhaps flawed. While Heracles and Theseus did travel together, Lancer’s father isn’t the only parent of his related to the tale of Heracles. His mother Hippolyta, a stranger though she may have always been to him, was still an aspect of the Heracles legend even Lancer was aware of.

Theseus had kept no memento of Hippolyta, what with the war banner of Ares being an integral part of the Twelve Labors. Though he was a bastard, and now completely alone, wasn’t Lancer still entitled to something from the one member of his family he had left? He could not claim the Goddess of War as perhaps was his right as the son of an Amazon, so Lancer has done the next best thing and taken what once belonged to Hippolyta’s killer.

Functionally, the Pelt of the Divine Beast has not changed. The “rejection” of man’s creations is still in effect, it’s merely the method of wearing the pelt that has changed. Because Lancer is by no means as beefy as Heracles was, he’s piled the pelt up on himself like a giant scarf/poncho. The distinct color of the pelt has also changed, dyed a dull color from the poisonous flames of the funeral pyre.
Corpse King of the Golden Bough
    Tauropolos Arikinę

    Type: Anti-Unit (Self)/Anti-Army
    Rank: B
    Range: 1
    Max Target: 1

A Noble Phantasm crystalizing perhaps the most famous event of Lancer’s life after the betrayal of Theseus. The event of his death, resurrection, and life beyond death. It is thus a Noble Phantasm comprised of two parts; a passive effect as well as a full release.

Asclepius, with the assistance of Artemis and the blood of Gorgon, successfully brought Lancer back from the dead. Of course, Greek heroes coming back from the dead are not exactly uncommon, the key difference being most heroes (Orpheus, Heracles, Theseus) found entrances to the underworld and traveled to Tartarus while still alive; taking advantage of a sort of loophole within the structure of the Underworld.

This was unfortunately not the case with Lancer. The act of his resurrection was apparently so startling to the nature of causality in the Greek world that the Moirai Clotho was forced to spin an entirely new Thread of Fate.

Tauropolos Arikinę’s passive effect is thus a single resurrection. Instead of it being something like “forcibly refilling HP back to full” it would be more accurate to say that Lancer “spontaneously grows another HP bar,” his life resuming once this second bar activates. While an indispensable ability, Lancer is not able to take advantage of both aspects of this Noble Phantasm. If the life is spent, then the free resurrection will be lost, and the second ability will be all that remains. The same is true if Lancer decides to use the second effect before he died: the resurrection is then lost.

The second--and arguably main--effect of Tauropolos Arikinę crystallizes Lancer’s life as Virbius. After he was brought back from the dead, and Asclepius killed by Zeus, Lancer was forcibly relocated to the forest of Nemi, Italy, where he became the god Virbius. The boy known as Lancer is no more, he has transformed into the primeval, chthonic deity he must become to satisfy his maiden goddess.

Lancer is an incarnation of nature, introduced and inherited as a custom of the native Italians from the introduction of the Tauric Artemis idol which Orestes brought to Italy after the establishment of the Rex Nemorensis (King of the Wood) special priesthood of Artemis (Diana Nemorensis). These priests would cover themselves in green clothing, branches, and dirt, and wander the forests of Nemi alone, constantly brandishing a sword. Constantly staying armed was by no means just symbolic, as the successive line of Kings of the Wood are determined by murdering the previous holder of the title. Nowhere else in Greece or Italy is such a custom heard of; not only the strange method of succession but also that the King of the Wood is a position historically limited only to freed or escaped slaves. Quite literally, the King of the Wood represents the “destruction of the bonds of one’s previous life and the beginning of another.”

As the progenitor of the Kings of the Wood; as Virbius, the forest of Nemi begins to spontaneously grow from under Lancer’s feet upon the release of the Noble Phantasm’s True Name. The world’s texture is overwritten with the emerging forest--much like a certain emperor’s concert hall--by expelling a portion of Artemis’s Authority as Diana Nemorensis.

The King is the woods, and the woods are the King. Treated as a single extension of Lancer’s body, he can appear anywhere within the confines of the forest almost instantaneously by slipping his core through the underbrush to emerge in front of his target. The roots, branches, and even individual leaves can be manipulated to attack or defend, to a certain extent. Such is the tenacity of Artemis’s personal guard dog.

    Lore:
Tragic hunter, son of the great Greek hero Theseus by way of the rape of the Amazon Hippolyta: Hippolytus.

Fostered by his great-grandfather Pittheus for most of his life, as well as the omnipresent centaur Chiron, Hippolytus grew into a proud young hero. He faithfully served his chosen goddess, Artemis, above all others, a fact that would eventually lead to his downfall.

When returning to Athens after a hunting party, Hippolytus neglected to show reverence to the idol of Aphrodite at the city’s gate. Saying that he worshiped Aphrodite in his own way, Hippolytus instead expounded the virtues of Artemis.

Aphrodite, enraged, caused Theseus’s wife and Hippolytus’s step-mother; Phaedra, to fall in love with the proud boy. Torn apart by her own divinely-inspired love, Phaedra committed suicide after writing a note to Theseus, implicating Hippolytus for a fictitious rape. Hippolytus attempted to argue his case--that he was famously virginal and didn’t like Phaedra at all anyway--Theseus would hear none of it. Calling upon a boon given to him by Poseidon, Theseus cursed his son to death on top of also exiling him from Troezen.

Soon, while riding out on the beach, Poseidon sent a sea monster to spook the horses drawing Hippolytus’s chariot. After being dragged to death, Artemis descended from Olympus and brought the boy’s mangled body to Asclepius. With her help, Hippolytus was successfully raised from the dead.

For the crime of violating the laws of life and death, Zeus killed Asclepius with a thunderbolt. Hiding Hippolytus away, she took him to her sacred grove in Aricia, Italy. Here he ruled as Virbius among the trees, finally together with his beloved huntress.

    Relationships:

    Atalanta
    “...”

Silently watches from afar. She is respected as a fellow devotee of Artemis and gifted huntress in her own right, unfortunately there’s simply no way Hippolytus will be able to overcome his trauma and converse with her normally. VIP status to his woods is quietly given to her.

    Hippolyta
“Mother...No, Hippolyta. Though you have left me nothing, I have made do--I’m not taking the scarf off!”

They have never met, and thus their first impressions of each other are cooled. There is an unspoken acknowledgement of the trauma the other must have suffered at the hands of “that man”, but little else between the two. That being said, he’s scolded like the son he is for blatantly wearing something so inappropriate in front of her.

    Asclepius
Tears well in Hippolytus’s eyes the moment he sees him. He’s sorry. He’s really really sorry.

    Caligula
“What, you’re the one responsible? Are you trying to make me laugh?”

While Caligula was the one responsible for ending the Rex Nemorensis tradition, Hippolytus questions his motives and strength of character. It’s just too ironic that a man who went insane looking at the moon (Diana) would himself destroy another aspect of the same goddess. With the end of Rex Nemorensis as an instituted rite, the “final death” of Hippolytus can be attributed to Caligula.

    Robin Hood
Incredibly genial, surprisingly. He answers to him as a fellow King of the Woods.

    Creator Notes:
Obviously, the biggest influence for Hippolytus is the play of the same name by Euripides, which is where most of the lore comes from--Hippolytus being a product of Hippolyta’s rape rather than a loving relationship, etc.

This of course caused some problems in figuring out just which interpretations were used for every other character tangentially related to Hippolytus. Hippolyta was killed by Herk during the Amazonomachy, as we know from SF, so figuring out when and how Theseus could have met her with enough time left for her to be killed by Herk was a bit troubling.

While the Pelt is by no means necessary to Hippolytus, my initial misunderstanding of the timeline had me believe the pelt was left with Pittheus for several generations. By the time I realized my mistake, I was too convinced of this version of events. There’s usually never an account of where certain famous artifacts end up after a legend’s conclusion anyway (the Pelt, Gae Bolg, etc) so I felt there was just enough room to play with the idea. If there does happen to be an explanation, please let me know.

I felt thematically Hippolytus adopting the remnants of his mother after being rejected by his father was fitting, as Hippolytus just having Goddess of War because >Hippolyta seemed insincere. The sheet can basically be read without the Pelt at all, if you would prefer, just substitute it with a regular scarf. I couldn’t help myself. I’m sorry.

Thank you for reading, even if it’s a bit sparse. And stilted and hard to understand.

Look, this is the fruit of fate.
If you ever wonder what the most valuable thing in this world is, then come, take a closer look.

Ah… this is…. Where are we…? Ah! You are… Zeus!! G-good morning… Have you summoned us to retrieve the Golden Apples for you?

Eh…? You are not… Zeus…? We’re supposed to fight… in the Golden Apple War? Ah, surely we’re not mistaken! Zeus is indeed our Master and we’re his Servant! So, Lord Zeus, you need me to find for that one Golden Apple you misplace somewhere, right?

Ah…! Don’t worry Master… We talked to Mr. Heracles earlier, he agreed to help us in return of a golden apple, but we must hurry… Mr. Heracles has 11 other things to do today; he’s such a busy man… Oh, we can call Mr. Perseus and Miss Atlanta too, if you want!

We cannot distinguish dream from reality, nor even distinguish ourselves, but even so… Humans, even gods, they are like that too… They seek power, success and wealth for themselves and admire them in others that they are often blind to what is of true value in life.

    Class: Rider
    True Name: The Hesperides
    Gender: Female
    Alignment: True Neutral
    Origin: Greek Mythology

Although it seems that they are summoned with only one Saint Graph (Hesperie), the four personalities of the Hesperides are actually summoned together. However, the other three (Aegle, Eritheia, and Arethusa), who contained themselves within the Garden that is their Noble Phantasm, “don’t really want to interact with the outside world” so they can only interact with the world through Hesperie, who may occasionally summon their apparitions, although in reality she just communicate with them telepathically while projecting their apparition to the world with her Illusion skill.

    Parameters:
    STR: C
    END: E
    AGI: E
    MGI: A
    LCK: B
    NP: A

    Class Skills:
    Riding: A++
The ability to ride mounts and vehicles, it is the Class skill of Riders. Normally it’s impossible to ride dragons with just the riding skill, but by using a combination of their Illusion and Self-Suggestion skills, the Hesperides has somehow transformed Ladon into a form that they can ride. The same principle can be applied to just about any mount they think they could ride, making up for their actually little to non-existent Riding skill.

    Magic Resistance: A
Grants protection against magical effects. Cancel spells of A-Rank or below, no matter what High-Thaumaturgy it is. In practice, the Servant is untouchable to modern magi. Such high rank of magic resistance is to be expected from the Nymph-Goddesses who live on the Reverse Side of the World. Their assistant dragon, Ladon, also helps in boosting their Magic Resistance.

    Personal Skills:
    Self-Suggestion: EX
A suggestion to oneself, which raises resistance against mental interference type of magecrafts, skills and Noble Phantasms, also, depending on the user’s perception of their own self, it is even possible to modify one’s own body, Skill, or Noble Phantasm to some degree. Combined with their other abilities, it’s even possible to go beyond influencing their own mind and spread their delusions to others around them.

Perhaps it’s because of them being the guardian of the Golden Apples, treasures which fades the rationality of the mind, or perhaps because of them living on a place that could be said to be the boundary between reality and fantasy, or both. In any case, the Hesperides are completely unable to separate fantasy from reality, so mutual understanding with anyone (at least, anyone not themselves affected by their delusion) is difficult.

    Illusionism: B
The art of illusion within the field of magecraft; it’s a magecraft for the use of beguilement, interference with the psyche, and the projection of illusions into reality. It’s actually not an actual skill belonging to the Hesperides, but something they acquire from their Golden Apple Noble Phantasm. Through that Noble Phantasm, it becomes possible to project a portion of their delusions into reality.

    Divinity: A
The measure of one’s Divine Spirit aptitude. Although the Hesperides are designated as Nymphs, in actuality these daughters of the titan Atlas are proper goddesses who rules over sunsets and evenings. However, because their mind and Saint Graph are unstable due to their Self-Suggestion skill, they don’t receive the Divine Core skill.

    Noble Phantasms:
    Chrysá Míla
    Golden Apples of Yearning
    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank: EX
The Golden Apples, the forbidden fruit of the Gods which the Hesperides are entrusted to care by Gaia. These are the apples which a crafty suitor used to completely win over the unmatched Atalanta in a race, and one of these is also the artifact of discord which caused the Trojan War. In essence, as a Noble Phantasm the Golden Apples are “fruits which cause rationality to fade”.

As a mental interference attack, the Golden Apple displays an item which the target treasures the most. By throwing the fruit in the ground, it will cause any human being would stop, and try to reach for the fruit, a conditioned response similar to how one will retract his hand when touching something hot, a response carved deeply into the human body. In addition, it can also be used as some sort of Mystic Code, which grants its user the ability to subconsciously project illusions.

    Drakôn Hesperios
The Guardian Dragon of the Evening Sun
    Type: Anti-Army
    Rank: A
The ever-watchful dragon named Ladon which is assigned to assist or superintend the Hesperides in guarding the garden of the golden apples. He’s said to be the sibling of the Nemean Lion, of which both suffered the same fate against the hero Heracles. After his death, Zeus, to honor the guardian of her wife’s wedding gift, embedded Ladon in the heavens as the constellation Draco. He is the reason the Hesperides is summoned as Rider.

Ladon has a hundred heads, of which each head can do a different type of breathing attacks. As a guardian dragon, it specializes in defending a territory from intruders or invaders with its watchful eyes, as it has been eternally embedded as the constellation Draco, it also possess some sort of Clairvoyance ability.

As Rider it seems that the Hesperides has somehow modified Ladon into some sort of mobile container for the golden apples. However, its power and true nature as a fierce hundred headed guardian dragon has not changed, and even in this form it can act as some sort of mobile fortress Noble Phantasm. It is especially deadly when combined with the distractive and immobilizing power of the Golden Apples, which can easily fool enemies, allowing Ladon to launch overwhelming surprise attack.

    Garden of Hesperides
    The Radiantly Gleaming Utopia
    Type: Anti-Unit (Self)
    Rank: EX
The Garden of Hesperides. The mythical island said to be located at the westernmost edge of the world, where the sun would go down to and where the titan Atlas holds up the heavens on his shoulders, it is also where the trees bearing the golden apple grows, and where the Hesperides resides as its guardian. During evenings, it is said that the radiant golden glow of the apples is what caused the beautiful shine of the sunset. The utopia of Avalon is said to be derived from this island, as such, their effects as Noble Phantasms are nearly identical.

Through this Noble Phantasm, the Hesperides can produce sweet ambrosia in form of a golden apple, different from the Noble Phantasm ones, which has potent healing properties when eaten or applied to the body. It can easily restore one from even from the brink of death.

With its true name release, the golden apples which the Hesperides carries will shine brilliantly, releasing a golden explosion which pushes back anyone nearby, then a golden tree-like structure will envelop the Hesperides, returning them to the Garden of Hesperides and shielding them from any and all interferences. The Hesperides could continue their hikikomori life and no one could bother them.

    Watcher of a Broken Age:
    Path Paved With Sundered Hearts

“...It appears you are aimless and scattered, like pieces of a broken mirror.
Then we are one and the same, shards drifting in the aether.
As such, we will offer you our hands - -
For the chance of piecing you together, to reach for that ever-distant light…

    Catalyst: N/A

No matter how far joyous a life of luxury and “Happiness” can be, nothing can dam the encroaching tragedies - - not material wealth, not your friends, and certainly not yourself.

    Skills

    Class Skills:

    Territory Infringement - A
The ability to slip past all manner of security, be it mundane or supernatural in nature. Bypassing wards, barriers, alarms and more, an ideal Skill for infiltrator-type Servants. The featured Skill of the Watcher-Class Servant.

At A-rank, Watcher is capable of bypassing all manner of defenses barring Divine Authority. Rather than a legend of being undetected, it’s more in the lines of Watcher’s sheer “Fleetingness” and “Unimportance” that even the most reactive of motion sensors ignore their presence entirely.

That said, the faint glow of embers and cracked ash encompass the forms of Watcher’s “Shadows,” in spite of their life-like visage.

“Careless. They claim to be a mage without equal, but not even their traps responded to my stride.”

“Disappointing as it may, consider our Master and us blessed for this great opportunity. We may be amidst the viper’s nest, but the great beast remain blissfully ignorant of its impending doom.”

    ---

    Magic Resistance - EX
Grants protection against magical effects. Differing from the developed resistance that merely rejects magical energy, this Skill cancels the spells altogether.

Rather than “Evading/Averting Magecraft” like that of Ruler-Class Servants, it appears spells fail to register Watcher entirely. Even if one are to locate Watcher’s Shadows, all manner of rituals and spellcraft will “Phase” through their forms as if they are but dust in the wind - - ever fluttering, never fully settling onto the ground.

“Ohohoh, don’t mind us Master; useless as we may be in combat, we are no pushovers either. Try as they might, they cannot harm what was never whole in the first place.
    - - See? The boys are all fine and dandy, it was as if the Noble Phantasm never scattered them!”

    Personal Skills:

    Conceptual Revocation - B+
An abnormal Skill, especially for the embodiment of concepts like Servants. A fundamental rejection of concepts and their effects, born from either the user's existence as an "Anathema," or a mindset completely and utterly against existing ideas of the current reality. All Conceptual Attacks and Skills receives a demerit (any "+" modifiers nullified), while Noble Phantasms embodying a "Concept" will have their rankings reduced.

In Watcher's case, any who are within a certain radius of their Master will suffer the effects of the Skill. Assuming the opponent's concept is the likes of "Victory," "Dreams," or any romantic/positive connotations will have their Skills decreased by one rank, and their Noble Phantasm ranking halved.

Rather than any supernatural means, it appears Watcher radiates an aura of utter "Denial and Rejection." The pressure of such a presence is overwhelming, as if the opponent is bearing witness of a collective rebellion...

“Worry not about expectations, nor opinions, failures or disappointments. Cast them aside, and aim for that light!”

“The eyes of others are prisons, and their thoughts cages. To be constrained is a crime, Master; its lethargy sapping the fine points of the soul.”

    ---

Resolution of the Wayward - A
The foolish will to continue onward, even after all the trials and tribulations. No matter how many times the User or their Master fail a will check, the user will always return both back at “The Start” of their mental fortitude. This is not the undying drive of Battle Continuation nor the recovery-based infliction of Honor of the Battered, but a “Forceful Uplift” that keeps their Master from succumbing into despair. However, this Skill will not activate in the face of “Absolute Lack of Hope.”

Although the jaded outlook from Conceptual Revocation implied otherwise, Watcher embodies the will to press on in spite of the bleak onset. Though shrouded in pessimism, they are ultimately dreamers who wish for that “One Fine Day,” the promised moment where all their shattered dreams - - all of it - - will finally be realized.
To that end, Watcher ensures their Master can find the “Light;” if it means they must drag themselves and their Master from the mire countless times, then so be it.

“It is impossible to objectively separate the ‘Real’ and ‘Ideal.’ Not you, not I, nor anyone who is truly ‘Human.’”

“‘Goddamn, this is bringing me nothing but pain!’ That is a child’s way of thinkin’. This suffering is what judges you to be a real adult or not. Do not see this as pain, but as a reminder.”

    ---

    Territory Creation - D
A Skill that allows the construction of special terrains that is advantageous to a magus, such as the purpose of collecting Mana.

Rather than a physical “Workshop,” Watcher manifests a “Breakroom” whenever the Master retires for the night. Within this dream’s short reprieve, all nine of Watcher’s Shadows can manifest simultaneously — offering their own observations, opinions, and cryptic hints of what may come next.

That said, please choose wisely on who to listen; heeding the advice of conflicting viewpoints only leads to a heated discourse between the Shadows, at best.
Too many cooks spoil the broth, after all.

“Your strikes lack passion! Loving is very much like fighting - - each strike made from the heart, every drop of blood boils with the will to live! And you, you, your fists are tainted with hesitation - - unacceptable!”

    ---

    Universal Bird’s Eye View - C+
The ability to understand what goes on in the territory in which the user was summoned. It matters not the distance nor the scale, the Servant is capable of tracking all manner of information with precise detail. Effective for notifying the Master to carry out a countermeasure.

At this rank, Watcher’s scope of observation is limited to sight and sound. Though extremely underwhelming for a Watcher-Class Servant, they make up for it noting/deducing the subject with great scrutiny not unlike that of Human Observation. Truly, the eyes of a creative mind at work are a wonder both awe-inspiring and uncanny.

“Aha! I see, in your brows… A firefly of angles and planes, the sharpness shimmering in the liquid air-”

    Noble Phantasm

    Génération Perdue
    Embers Among The Gilded Age

    Anti-Mind (Self)
    Rank: (-)
    Range: ???
    Max Targets: 1~??? People

    The Lost Generation.
The trials placed upon Watcher’s Master, a passive “Curse” born from the remains of countless lost souls. The “Aimlessness” viewed with scorn from their predecessors. An entire generation of regrets, wishes and resentment, condensed and malformed into something worthy of becoming a Noble Phantasm. Even then, it is less of a “Crystallization of a Legend” but more of a reminder - - a proof of existence, a defiant mark against an ever-turning world.

Activated immediately upon summoning, Watcher’s Master will immediately find themselves in the midst of multiple situations where their values are questioned. Whether it was through the manipulation of fate or subtle prodding, their Master will be swept along a grueling journey of self-discovery that will likely break them before building them back up.

In the eyes of the Master, it is akin to their personal Purgatory made manifest. Seemingly stalked by visions of formless silhouettes and grotesque beasts, whispers questioning and mocking their endeavors. Warping the line between fiction and reality amidst the dangers inherent to a Grail War, the Master is seemingly trapped in a churning spiral of tribulations.

However, the blanket of “ashes” covering the city is no delusion. Throughout the duration of the Watcher’s presence in the world, the site will be beset by a gradual blanket of ash - - spiritual fragments of the Servant - - coating the land in an eerie pallor of “Desolation.” To add to the list of abnormalities, after a set amount of days, the sheer quantity of the flakes will reveal numerous footprints and handprints alike; the marks of Watcher’s Shadows, finally shown in physical form to the real world.

Though seemingly a portent of an ulterior action, it is nothing but a showing of “The Essence of Watcher.” The single-minded drive through the mire, even when they are naught but ashes in the wind - -

    Lore

The first Shadow is Ernest Hemingway, an intense writer and novelist who coined the “Iceberg Theory” and whose prose influenced both British and American literature.
The second is John Ronald Reuel Tolkien, a world-forging writer and poet whose stories and worlds became the cornerstone of High Fantasy fiction.

The third is Gertrude Stein, widely respected collector and patron of painters, writers and other artists alike; allowing her contemporaries their rise to notoriety and fame.

The fourth is Francis Scott Fitzgerald, a writer of great highs and lows, whose Magnum Opus earned the title of the “Great American Novel,” a portrait of the excess in his time.
The fifth is Virginia Woolf, pioneer of the “Stream-of-Consciousness” style of writing and works tackling the moral implications of war and the perspectives of Class.

The sixth is Thomas Stearns Eliot, withdrawn poet and publisher whose small but peerless collection of prose played a part in forming modern poetry.
The seventh is William Faulkner, contrasting against Hemingway through vivid language imitate organic thought and breathes life into the set.

The eighth is Pablo Picasso, Passionate painter spearheading the field of Modern Art, and creator of Cubism and influencer of many other styles.
The last is Salvador Dali, infamous Surrealist whose personality and antics often surpass the acclaim of his artworks.

Even with such a star-studded ensemble, none of them are present in the Throne of Heroes. Having past the cut-off point into the Modern Age, these souls can only manifest as Wraiths at best; phantom fragments of the human soul, not a single speck of Mystery.
Instead, these past artists are but the dominant faces of a collective will - -

    The Lost Generation.
An entire generation of people matured during the wake of the Great War, many of whom offered into the slaughterhouse, while the rest faced the bleak aftermath. The “Flowers of Youth and Romance,” trampled by the onslaught of battle. For those who survived or grew up from this period, many came to view conventional traditions and romantic ideals with derision, while seeing high-sighted hopes like “The American Dream” as a bloated snare. As such, this generation was marked by a sense of “Purposeless, Hopeless wanderings,” their lives akin to fleeting embers as they drown themselves with hedonistic pursuits.

Though they lack purpose, a wishful hope lay dormant within.
Though they lack optimism, all yearn for that wishfulness.
Though they lack trust, that wish is all they can confine to.
A wish for their pursuits to be realized, for their lives to be lived fully - - that “One Fine Day” none of them ever caught.
So in hindsight, it was no surprise there are a degree of “Unfulfilled Wishes” that afflict the generation of souls.

In a resonance across countless lives, these errant pieces of wasted dreams are drawn into one another - - bound by a common dream, blundering wildly towards a common “Wish.”

To become “Whole,” no longer “Lost and Aimless.”
“That One Fine Day,” where all their losses finally meant something.
And if they themselves cannot be “Whole…”
Then someone who is equally broken shall inherit their wish - -

    “Personality”

Hemingway is intense, a man of action who does not believe in looking back. Tolkien is romantic, an odd parent-figure with an equally odd flair of humor.

Stein is stern, a mother-figure for even the most firebrand expatriate.

Fitzgerald is frivolous, pursuing a “Bloated Dream” with abandon and charm. Woolf is withdrawn, with it hiding a fire of standing up for what she believes is right.

Eliot is reserved, whose measured words hides a sensitivity not of his image. Faulkner is pensive, his laissez-faire attitude born from a checkered life.

Picasso is passionate, whose spitfire tongue rivalling his fervor. Dali is eccentric, though his wild theatrics and ramblings conceal a hidden wisdom.

Even then, these artists aren’t truly “Watcher.”

Rather than a proper “Servant,” Watcher is more accurately an aggregated mass of spirits, consisting of the aforementioned Shades and millions of dead. Millions of errant thoughts and wills, most of them melding into one another into a cloud of regrets. To that end, it’s easier to say that the “Proper Servant that is Watcher” has no defining personality whatsoever- -

And yet, this collective hope is nothing a mere amalgamation would possess.

Watcher may be defined by failings and tragedy, all of them carry the same wish for that “One Fine Day.” A far-reaching dream, a paradise that finds their efforts realized and more.

It is an unrealistic and desperate fantasy, very much so; but it is their sole anchor, a single string that keeps them together.

However, this very hope can be what makes Watcher so much of a force to begin with.

With their sole objective seeking that wish, their Master will be thrown into the fray. Be it combat against enemy Servants and Masters or their orchestrated “Trials,” they will see their Master to be realised as “Whole,” even if it means breaking them and pulling them back up, over and over.

And in a way, these souls have lost much, and thus have very little to lose - -

    Shielder of the Frost

    Faceclaim

"Even if I'm falling apart, this body of mine will be your shield!"

    True Name: Svalinn
    Class: Shielder
    Alternate Classes: None
    Likes: Life, Humans, Ice cream
    Dislikes: The Sun, Spicy food
    Region: Germany
    Armament: Ice

    Parameters:
    STR: E
    END: A+
    AGI: E
    MAG: A
    LCK: B
    NP: A+

    Skills

    Class Skills:

    Self Field Defense B+
A class skill of the Shielder class. It is a power displayed when protecting an ally of ally camp. After about 500 million years after Gaia formed, Shielder was created not as a defense but more as a filter that deters unneeded substances. However, Shielder has begun losing his effectiveness in modern times, a thought that grates on her. The + modifier is active when encountering heat related problems.
"I was doing a better job before! I swear!"

    Personal Skills

    Protection of the Frost A
A skill belonging to Shielder that allows for resistance against attacks that have heat or fire related components. As far as Shielder is concerned, the Shining Goddess up above is the enemy so it would do well for her to make precautions. Synergizes well with Self Field Defense to extend to allies.
"No worries! The sun never bothered me anyway."

    Determination Of Steel C
A skill created from the fusion of Bravery and Calm and Collected. Allows one to endure pain and superhuman speeds. Shielder was created for the task of bearing the brunt of the suffering and filtering it into a weaker form and he would gladly continue defying the Shining Goddess even as his existence slowly starts to collapse and give way.

    Independent Manifestation C
A skill that marks one as a confirmed existence and allow for an unsupported manifestation into the world. Shielder surprisingly still exists in a world where the common sense of man is supreme but in a 'different form' known as the Atmosphere that surrounds the Earth.

    Clairvoyance (Sky) A+
A personal skill developed by Shielder during his lifetime. Shielder is a being who surveyed the world from the world up above, always having awareness of every being living under his sky. The skill allows Shielder to view the world from that same position, always having sight even when his spiritual body is blinded.

    Noble Phantasms

Svalinn (Frozen Shield Standing Before The Shining Goddess) B [Anti-Unit]:
A noble phantasm that not meant for the enemy nor for Shielder himself but for the person Shielder protects. It embodied the purpose that Shielder was created for, and the one that role he was theorized to be doing in modern times, to convert something from 'Deadly' to 'Relatively Harmless'.

The primary effect of this noble phantasm is to have any blow at the designated person will have only ⅓ of the effectiveness it was supposed to have. The secondary effect is to reflect the other ⅔ of the damage back at the attacker. This noble phantasm doesn't take effect if the damage is meant for Shielder or if damage doesn't matter (i.e. if the main purpose was to instill an infliction like poison)

Erste Eiszets (True Blue Ice Age) C~A+ [Anti-World]:
A noble phantasm that Shielder marks as a constant reminder of his worst blunder. This noble phantasm works on a basis similar to that of a certain true magic in which it essentially shunts minutes of the first glaciation of the Earth onto the current time period of Shielder, directly creating an isolated system where he rapidly increases the entropy.

However, despite its power, it is something that Shielder only uses in small quantities due to the trauma of temporarily inconveniencing Gaia by causing a mass extinction event of anaerobic life forms he was supposed to protect. Otherwise, full unrestricted usage of this would cause a worldwide Ice Age, if only for a few moments.

    Bio

Shielder's true name is Svalinn, the frozen shield mentioned Norse Mythology to protect the Earth from the full brunt of the Sun's rays, though in modern times, he is called the Atmosphere. A being conceived by the Earth about 500 million after its formation for the purpose of reflecting and filtering the rays. He is also someone who has seen the primal beginning and subsequent advancement of humanity with his own eyes.

His purpose of existence was simple: Stand and take the full force of the Sun's rays while simultaneously filtering and reflecting it. No pressure right?. At first, there were no feelings for the job. A simple being had nothing to complain about so she spent millennia taking the sweltering heat head-on at the behest of his creator.

But then, something miraculous, at least in his eyes, happened. He was named 'Svalinn' by humans, the same species that left his creator's grace and became independent. The same species that acknowledged his existence, even if it was a bit mistaken. Unable to comprehend his feelings, he continued his duty but made sure to watch the happenings of below closer. And he saw, he wondered, and he admired.

He ended up having a small desire, one he kept to herself even to the day. He wanted to stay in the world for as long as he possibly can, to be the sky that humans can see and appreciate every morning, even if its for a few more seconds, maybe a minute, or an hour. He'll be content with it either way.

    Personality

Shielder is quite the positive person for someone on a limited life span. He does his best to not think about the probability of his death in the future but can't help but wonder 'What's going to happen when I'm gone?' He doesn't strictly hate the Sun due to his duty nor is it because of the millennia he spent burning under it but it's more along the lines of being distrustful due to being exposed to its capabilities. He does, however, have an appreciation to all life under his sky but his favorites are obviously humans due to naming him.

    Relationships

Anastasia: "Ah. You're another ice user right? Maybe we can... U-um." Will immediately try to cooperate with her but will ultimately fumble due to the former's withdrawn nature and the latter's inexperience with people.

Tamamo, Quetzalcoatl, Ishtar: "We don't need another shining goddess!" The presence of another female representation of the Sun made him think of having twice the workload which he doesn't appreciate.

Ozymandias: "There are people who like her?!" The existence of someone who graces the Sun in a positive manner absolutely baffles him, even if it does have it uses for those who live below him.

Mashu: "Oh um, I'll follow your lead, uh Senpai?" Despite being way older than her, Shielder will place himself in the role of Kouhai due to difference in job experience.

The Earth: "..." His creator, his mother, his opposite. Whichever way, he bears conflicting feelings due to the lack of any appreciation over the years since she created him.

Author's note: This is probably a mediocre sheet but its one that I like. Shielder was originally going to be a girl until I thought 'Fuck it' and made him a boy.

A saint in every meaning of the word. For anyone else, her saintly persona would come off as disingenuous yet Helena can call herself “too blessed” and crumble to the floor in abrupt prayer with complete honesty. One might describe her best as a wholesome family person, dedicated to her family as she is to her religious beliefs. However, with this honesty and devotions comes and unwavering personality. Helena is not one to accept anything that is outside own judgement. She does not accept the way the world is currently, disturbed by the lack of faith in people’s lives.

Even the pagan heretics showed proper devotion to their false gods. To live without faith entirely...these are indeed Dark times.”

It is strange how many Heroic Spirit there are that claim their Master as a child; Helena is no different. Regardless of your age, summoning St. Helena automatically makes you her ‘child’ in some sense, be it as a mother or as a mentor figure. She seeks to lead you down the righteous path; do good by others, give to those who do not have, live without greed and lust and envy and pride and wrath, all of the good Christian ideals. One could argue that trying to live like that is like trying to stop being human, but Helena will not hear any of that. You will follow the path or she shall not help you to achieve the Grail. She will take it for herself and destroy it.

    Skills
    Class Skills
    Magic Resistance: EX
The overwhelming piety of her person diverts magecraft away from her person and towards the phantom cross that hangs above her. The sacraments of the Holy Church, such as Black Keys, will be rendered inert in her presence thanks to her Noble Phantasm.

    Personal Skills
    Imperial Privilege: A-
Though she was never Empress alongside an Emperor, she was named Augusta by her son upon his ascension and known as the dowager Empress. With this skill, she is able to obtain abilities she did not have in life, such as Riding and Healing Touch. While this ability is naturally strong, Helena’s attitude does not often push it towards its true potential, degrading it ever so slightly.

    Saint: B
Indicates her status as a saint. For her purposes, Helena chooses to recover automatically, allowing her to heal herself without the need for mana from her Master.

Yet another gift. I am too blessed.”

    Golden Rule (Holy): A
Famous for her supposed discovery of the True Cross and the Holy Nails, Helena naturally attracts holy objects of great importance and power. Her wealth is nothing to sneeze at either.

    NP
    ]Noble Phantasms
    Arma Christi - Holy Nails
The Price of Atonement Must Be Paid
    Rank: A
    Type: Anti-Unit
    Range: 1-30
Two of the Holy Nails used to crucify Jesus Christ to the Cross; instruments of the Passion that would kill him and reconcile humanity with God, who would forgive their sins. Helena gave one to Constantine, having it put into his helmet, hoping it would protect him. The other two remain in her possession. The nails float harmlessly over the shoulders of the Empress until she calls upon them to defend her. Falling to her knees and calling out in prayer, the nails activate as a defensive system, striking out at her enemies as if they were drones. Moving fast enough to blur from sight and strong enough to piece through steel, the nails are near impossible for the average person to dodge. Once both nails have pierced a person, they will be paralyzed and drained of their blood, transferring to the Cross. The nails will not kill the victim but leave them too weakened to continue fighting, draining only five cups of blood per person.
    Arma Christi - Titulus Crucis
    The New Covenant
    Rank: EX
    Type: Automatic, Anti-Army
    Range: 1-99
The True Name of the Cross cannot be called until enough blood has been gathered. Before this, the Cross will act automatically to protect Helena, looming as a halo behind her, warding away magecraft and sacraments. As the Nails gather blood, the Cross will slowly grow more corporeal, appearing as a blood stained wooden cross of walnut shining with golden light.

There is no maximum capacity for blood but about 100 cups worth will allow it to be activated. When its True Name is called, the cross will rise high into the air until it is nothing but a distant shining star in the sky. Those whose blood has been taken will begin to glow and find themselves drawn to Helena beneath the star. It is there, beneath this star, that a new covenant shall be formed between the donors and Helena herself to serve the Lord and walk a righteous path. What this really means from an outside perspective is that all of those people will become enthralled to Helena’s will, taking her word as gospel. Even Servants can be affected by this ability, forcing Masters to use a Command Seal to try and break them out of it with a chance of failure if the servant is a follower of the Christian faith or susceptible to “finding a new path”.

This is clearly mind control to anyone outside of the group but Helena says that is is simply faith. Faith that what they are doing is the right path towards atonement with God.

“Designate Saber, responding to your summons… Activating search protocol, where is my husband?!”

    ★ ★ ★ ★

    Class: Saber
    Alignment: True Neutral
Region: Europe, Scandinavian mythology; Volsung Saga & Poetic Edda
    Height: 184cm
    Weight: 71kg
    Attribute: Sky
Traits: Divine, Female, Humanoid, Riding, Servant, Weak to Enuma Elish

    Parameters:

    STR: A
    END: B
    AGI: B
    MGI: B
    LCK: D
    NP: C

    Skills

    Class Skills:

    Magic Resistance: A

Grants protection against magical effects. Differing from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. Cancel spells of A-Rank or below, no matter what High-Thaumaturgy it is. In practice, the Servant is untouchable to modern magi, so it would not be an exaggeration to title the Servant a "Magus Killer".

Increases own debuff resistance by 20%.

“Magecraft nullified, vitality remains at 100%. Unit Designation Sigrún preparing countermeasures.”

    Riding: A

Denoting the ability to ride mounts and vehicles. Rider-class Servants will typically possess a high rank. It is said that dragon type mounts are an exception, requiring a different ability other than Riding. All vehicles and all creatures but those of Phantasmal Beast and Divine Beast-rank can be used as mounts. Given from the anecdote that Valkyries rode on horseback. While the fame of her anecdote would have given her the Skill Rank of A+, her Riding has declined due to being summoned as a Saber.

Increases own quick performance by 10%.

    Personal Skills:

    Berserk: A

A composite Skill of Bravery and Mad Enhancement. Grants the user the ability to negate mental interference such as pressure, confusion and fascination. It also has the bonus effect of increasing melee damage. Simultaneously with this Skill, she turns into a beast that fights with her instincts, fighting like an animal.

In the Old Norse written corpus, berserkers were those who were said to have fought in a trance-like fury, a characteristic which later gave rise to the modern English word berserk. Saber’s first two incarnations were known as formidable combatants, vehemently slaughtering anyone who would attack her Master (Husband). Without a weapon she will use her hands and teeth without question, if blinded she will rip and tear anything that comes near, on the verge of death she will ignore pain.

Increases own attack for 1 turn (30%), Increases own NP damage for 1 turn (20%)

“Where is my Helgi? What have you done with them! I’ll garrote you with your own intestines!
    Divinity: C
A Skill that represents the depth of one's Divine Spirit aptitude, how close one is to a Divine Spirit. It also has an effect which reduces special defensive values called 'purge defence' in proportion to the Divinity's Rank. It can break through Skills such as Protection of the Faith and Enlightenment of the Sacred Fig.
Her existence is close to being a Divine Spirit (demigod) so Saber possesses a natural high aptitude, however as her legend during her time as a mortal surpasses her fame as a divine, it is reduced somewhat to give an ‘average’ rank.

    Increases own damage by 150.

“Error. Error. Unit Designation Sigrún does not compute. Terminate all subroutines and reroute primary shell program… Oh, sorry. Was I mumbling to myself again? I really need to stop doing that, I must sound so odd.”
    Primeval Rune: -
The possession of and knowledge about Runes that came from an older era. Those with possession and knowledge of Primordial Runes can also make use of the classic Rune Magic. Not an ability she was known for but instead an inborn ability of the Valkyries.
She has Runes hailing from Scandinavia, almost known as Scandinavian Magic Crests. These runes are different from the Runes modern magi use. These are Primal Runes with the power of the Age of Gods. Because of the Norse chief god Odin, they had spread throughout the world. If she demonstrates the true power of this Skill without possessing a Divinity Rank of A or higher, in addition to receiving restrictions on the use of her Noble Phantasm, severe damage enters her spiritual core and Saber will soon disappear. Saber has particular affinity for curses, defensive wards and shapeshifting.

Grants self Guts for 1 time, 3 turns (revive with 3000 HP). Increase own Buster card performance for 3 turns (20%). Increases own critical damage for 3 turns (50%).

“Authority from Great God Óđinn confirmed. Activating Primeval Rune subroutine.”

    Radiant Form: B
While not a Noble Phantasm, it is an ability shared amongst most of the Valkyrie, with Saber summoned as ‘one who is a mortal’ and ‘one who is a Valkyrie’ it has manifested as a skill rather as an innate ability of the body. The user has the ability to spread wings formed from pure mana allowing one the ability of flight and an increase to agility.
Saber, is depicted as ‘one who can ride through the air and over the sea’ and doing so without a mount.

Grants self Evasion for 2 attacks, 3 turns. Gains critical stars (15)

“Air superiority obta- obtai-. I’ll stop talking like an automaton, flying is so much fun! You should try it Helgi! Wait… you don’t have wings. Sorry, my bad. Hey, just had an idea. Can I carry you while I’m in the air? It’ll be like you’re flying too!”

    Noble Phantasm

    Through Fire and Flame
    Again-Walker

    Rank: C+
    Type: Anti-Unit
    Range: —
    Maximum Targets: 1 Person

“I advise against combat, I hear that killing me is a tiresome task. After all, death is only the beginning.”

"Kara... you can call me Kara."

A Noble Phantasm shared with one Helgi Hundingsbane whom she shares her multiple legends, lifetimes and even conceptual existence.

It is a constantly active Noble Phantasm representing ‘one who arises again after death’. It provides the dual effects of multiple resurrection and ‘immunity against an attack that has slain her previously’.

Rather than mundane healing, Again Walker grants the effect of automatic regeneration, including resurrection after death, reviving her with a stock of two extra lives through layered resurrection magic, similar in effect but not the time-reversal ability of True Ancestors Curse of Restoration. Once Saber is killed and her spiritual core is utterly destroyed, it will automatically reconstruct with a temporary ‘+’ modifier granted to parameters and a permanent outright immunity to what slew her - reflecting that unlike Helgi, Saber never died the same way in her legends. If killed by fire, Saber will ignore any debilitating effects of flame. Likewise if Saber is killed by a Noble Phantasm she cannot be killed the same way, rather than an ‘immunity to Noble Phantasms’ if she is killed by an A++ beam of light, she will be immune to such attacks meaning killing her with holy/demonic weaponry undesirable. Each life has a set amount of damage she can take before she ‘dies’ but damage does not carry over, meaning it is impossible to annihilate her in a single attack.

Functions as a Max Bond Craft Essence: When Equipped to Saber, Grants self Guts status for 2 times. (Revives with 1000 HP.)

    Dawn of Ruin (False)
    Ragnarök Gram

    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank: B (Conditionally A+)
    Range: 1~30
    Maximum Targets: -

“Love. Love. Helgi… I want him I want him I want him Helgi. Helgi. HELGI! Ragnarök Gram!”

The Demonic Sword of the Sun. It was originally an enchanted sword wielded and pulled from the trunk of a mighty tree by Sigurd's father, Sigmund; later, it shattered from clashing against Gungnir and was reforged anew into a cursed demonic blade that was capable of killing even a dragon by Sigurd. After that, it became renowned as a "demonic sword of both glory and ruin." It is said to be the strongest demonic sword that can only be equalled to the strongest holy sword Excalibur, so it possesses the special characteristic of "dragon slayer". The weapon is said to appear in the Der Ring des Nibelungen, a legend of a knight equal to that of King Arthur under the appearance of Balmung, but is rather called the "origin" of Balmung that was wielded by Siegfried.

An uncommon Noble Phantasm that came into existence as a magic sword, despite possessing the attributes of the sun. Bestowed by the Great God Odin, this sword is a rare weapon that not only selects a king, but simultaneously brings about glory, jealousy, ruin and fate. Its "Anti-Unit" classification does not refer to the enemy, but instead point to the one who shall have ownership over it from now on. When the owner turns into a proper, perfected king, its power will become appropriate for a holy sword. As Saber is not a king and has no intention of becoming such, the full power cannot be unlocked by her. It is a sword of ‘amplification’, increasing one’s magical energy and converting it into particles of red light. The energy can be released as an attack through an overloaded close ranged slash or releasing as a surging wave of red lightning. Saber prefers to utilise the beam attack… after impaling the enemy on the blade, just to make sure.

A weapon of great and terrible power by the Great God Odin. A degraded copied variant of the true Gram. It is possessed through association as while Odin provides a false copy of Gungnir to the valkyries, Saber possesses a greater affinity for swords as that was what her beloved Helgi wielded. Helgi Hundingsbane himself did not even possess Gram in legend, but it was wielded by his relatives Sigmund and Sigurd.

Buster: Deals damage to one enemy, Seals their skills for one turn. Overcharge Effect - Deals extra damage to ‘Dragon’ enemies.

    Lore

Originally born as Valkyrie Sváfa, maternal aunt of Sigurd. She was leader of nine valkyries who once came across a silent warrior-prince whom had no name, he fell in love with her on sight. She named him Helgi and asked him if he wanted a gift with his newly-given name (which was customary), but Helgi wanted nothing if he could not have Sváfa herself. She then informed him of the location of a great sword engraved with snakes and magic runes. They adventures together and Sváfa was Helgi’s living shield, protecting him from all harm, the Rune Sword was obtained and gifted to Helgi but most importantly over the quest a romance bloomed.

They won fame and Helgi asked for Sváfa’s hand in marriage. He consented, vows were exchanged and they were wed but Helgi went out to war and Sváfa remained with her father. Helgi killed a foreign king and the son Álfr vowed vengeance. Álfr challenged Helgi to holmgang single combat but won dishonourably as Helgi received a fatal wound due to the external interference of a troll woman’s curse. Before Helgi bled to death, he requested Sváfa marry his brotherHeđinn so she was not alone in life. Helgi and Sváfa would however reincarnate.

Reborn as the Valkyrie Sigrún, the most famous incarnation and blood thristy. Sigrún met her husband reborn as Helgi Hundingsbane. The second Helgi was the strongest and most fearsome, at 15 years old avenged his father Sigmund. Meeting at a young age as Sigrún descended from the sky, memories of their previous life resurfaced, Sigrún kissed him and the two fell in love instantly. Sigrún’s father had sworn her to a king of another land but both Helgi & Sigrún objected and the two invade to slay anyone who would get in the way of their love. The two battle the foreign forces, the king and Sigrún’s family and slay them all aside from her brother Dagr who swore fealty to them in exchange for his life. Helgi and Sigrún marry and have several children.

Dagr is tormented as he felt honour bound to avenge his family, through many sacrifices summoned the Great God Odin who granted him a spear. Dagr broke the oath of loyalty and murders Helgi by stabbing him in the back. Helgi ascends to Valhalla whom Odin personally provides great comfort for as recompense for his actions in Helgi’s death. Sigrún burys Helgi in a barrow, confronts Dagr and instead of butchering him, places him under an unbreakable curse forcing him to live the remainder of his days alone in the words without the comfort of civilisation. Dagr was reduced from a man to a beast with a man’s skin. Sigrún visits Helgi’s barrow and Odin as a final favour allowed Helgi to return for one last night with Sigrún. His hair is covered with frost, his body is sullied with blood and his hands are wet but regardless they spend a wonderful night together. Sigrún spends the rest of her days waiting in vain for Helgi to return again and dies of sorrow.

The pair are reborn a final time as Helgi Haddingjaskati & Kára whose legend has been lost to the modern day and only fragments remain to this day. Foretold by the state of Helgi’s body upon his return, Helgi and Sigrún have weakened and darkened in their final reincarnations. Helgi is instead of a noble warrior prince or a young savage boy is a cruel champion of two wicked kings of Sweden descended from Heroism to Villainy. Helgi is unkillable in combat due to being protected by his lady love the shapeshifting Valkyrie Kára, often taking the form of an animal. As Helgi faces the heroic Hrómundr, he overwhelms his opponent due to the many blessings Kára grants him. During the battle she is in the shape of the swam and her song makes Hrómundr’s allies incapable of defending themselves and are all slaughtered but Hrómundr is able to get Helgi to accidentally kill Kára in her transformed shape. With Helgi no longer protected by Kára’s magic, he is killed.

    Character

Sigrún is a living contradiction. She who is an individual, yet a trinity. Mortal, yet divine. Warrior, yet a wife. As a Valkyrie (divine automaton), she is programmed to follow a select series of commands and function is a particularly desired manner. Due to the contradictions above though, her ‘programming’ for lack of better words is malfunctioning.

Much like her sister Brynhildr, she is ‘defective’ and separate from the group conglomerate. She behaved like a doll until she met and fell in love with Helgi. Their bonds were so great that upon death, they were reincarnated and live out legend again and again before resting and becoming recorded upon the Throne of Heroes. To her Helgi she is compassionate and full of devotion, but not without a firm will and fundamentally human personality. When he is not present, this is when her personality programming malfunctions.

Saber is “one who protects Helgi” first and foremost, after all if a hero is one who protects then who protects the hero. Refusing to be summoned to anyone without a close enough connection to her beloved. When others threaten her Helgi, she will punish them appropriately; usually through curses and killings. Indeed, in order to be summoned her master must be Helgi Reincarnate (though what that is is debatable), loyal to stand by her through multiple lifetimes, strong body, good heart and one who can shoulder the pains of immortality. Thus is the pain of a hero. Therefore she will be Helgi’s guardian, Helgi’s lover, one whom Helgi can rely upon. The one and only person where Helgi can find peace.

Underneath the cold doll-like exterior is a contradictory ball of wild emotion that can only be described as a human. She will only be summoned for “Helgi” and whomever that suitable candidate is whether man or woman, she will just to make herself a loyal wife. Indeed the fatal programme malfunction (love) is inevitable.

    Related Characters:

Brynhildr: “Sister, it appears we both possess… defective programming as it was defined. Don’t listen to such slander, what you and Sigurd have is beautiful and must be cherished.”

Altera: "Threat to Humanity and Aesir detected. Mission; Destroy with maximum prejudice."

    Artemis: "Error. You too... automaton?"

    QoF Saber: “You… it’s [REDACTED]”

    Creator Notes

Another one for the hype train. This was originally on the True Name Discernment contest on the questverse server when we had to guess other people’s servants. Having a tall supermodel was a dead giveaway for me though.

She was also originally considered to be a candidate for the Saber servant in Quest of Fate. As it was pointed out ‘Helgi’ rhymes with ‘Seigi’ (the protag) but I never finished the sheet and it stuck as a WIP for 2+ years and lil Siggy got replaced. Probably still needs work in places but i just wanted to get it done after leaving it 20% done for so long.

    Anyways, enjoy malfunctioning robot wife.
