So at the beginning people were pissed off about everyone in the history book is now a Servant that brought paper thin characters just to make summonable units, then about Servant teased but never released, then about NPC that appear with sprite and all but are not summonable, and now about some historical characters that will never be Servant at all?
Because you are too young. Or too stupid. Or both.

I never cared bout hte logic to deny more modern figures, it was always very bad logic whenever people argued about it

And the issue is the logic is... very badly done, why is x in the throne but not Y when by virtue of X, y should be in the throne

It hardly matters since you don't need to be in the throne of heroes to be summoned as a servant

Who is the most obscure servant anyway?

Fairly obscure in general terms, but well known to fans of the Fate series since he's namedropped quite a lot back in Zero.

    Nameless

In a more serious note, maybe the hassan? Not as a collective, but each of them . Not talking about actual history but the fate take, their whole thing is that their actual name does not matter or sometimes they dont even knew who they are because they became an assasin shadow?

  12. #33632
Im not sure i would count them honestly.

I cant say anything about japanese myths cause its a right pain to get sources for anything outside of really obvious shit.

I think I remember hearing back when Sitonai was new that even on Japanese sites it was hard to find anything about her. So maybe her?

Sitonai was so obscure that the day Gotterdamerung came out I googled シトナイ to see who was that and the first result was a Bokusaba (Japanese Create-a-Servant website) sheet.

  15. #33635
That probably is close at least

osakabehime is obscure i know, but probably less right?

“Obscure” is a relative term. For Osakabenihime her page on the English Wikipedia for example is tiny but it’s native Japanese one is far richer in detail and sources.

Considering how several conspiracy theories like Q-Anon and Flat Earth are trying to "unexplain" the world and simplify it, could there be mages out there outright encouraging these conspiracy theories in an attempt to remystify the world? Could there even be a mage using a QAnon foundation or something like that?

Excuse me, flat earthing is 100% correct, if anything they're removing mystery by being flat earthers!

There's ultimately a grift at the heart of every major conspiracy theory that works rather simply to make someone usually richer ('buy my snake oil/book/disaster kit/energy crystals etc'), I feel like mages spreading urban legends and obscure ARGs on like /x/ would be the ones actually mystifying reality.
