Could Saver ever be summoned in a non-Moon Cell context?
Could Saver ever be summoned in a non-Moon Cell context?
Your verified Chikara-production Studios !
Dont ship me with anyone unless i say so !
When you wake a Dragon in his Lair...
Probably not.
Not because of the Moon Cell part, but because Saver Buddha coming down to Twice was supposed to be a once-in-a-universe event or something like that.

shit BL says
Once and always and nevermore.
do we know how many steps there are on the stairs of Caster's temple?
It removes magical enhancements, nullifies magical contracts, and destroys life forms created out of magical energy.
That's it, nothing else. So if you buff something with magic, it removes the buff, it can cut the servant-master contract, and I don't have a good example of the last one.

Well Xuanzang is in FGO. And Dainichi Nyorai is there with 1 tail most of the time. It comes down to whether that particular Buddha felt like they need to interfere or not.
It cannot break NPs. So if the target magecraft is from a NP or is a NP, then nope.
so what would happen if rule breaker struck a regular bounded field?
how about if it hit invisible air?

"According to Caster, “This is a sword of negation and betrayal, that nullifies every kind of magecraft in the world.”
seems a bit more all encompassing than what savepoints said
She's not Ryougi if that's what you're trying to get at

It is an effect suitable to the Noble Phantasm that is a manifestation of Caster’s nature as the “Witch of Betrayal”.A standard bounded field is none of the three.A Noble Phantasm with an ability clearly unlike that of the other Servants' Noble Phantasms. Its efficiency as a weapon is virtually nil, but it has the ability to "break" (as in, "violation of commandment" or "transgression of law") any magic on a target pierced by its blade. Targets that can be broken are contracts formed from prana, and life forms born from prana. Rule Breaker can reset the condition of the target to the state before magic was used on it. In other words, contracts formed from prana are wiped clean, and life forms created from prana are forcibly sublimated. Thus, its utility is quite limited, but it is extremely powerful within the context of the Servant system of the Holy Grail War.
