I have to admit I am likely one of the few who usually does not care much for vita/shirou. Still Daneel is such an awesome writer that I feel copelled to give it a chance. Signum/Shirou is much more to my taster personally.
As straight up character interaction is concerned, ShirouxSignum is superior. However, in Daneel's world ShirouxVita is king.
I am of the personal belief that the Tsukihime Remake is two years from release. It will remain as such until a release date is announced, at which time its actual release date is 6 months after that date.
I don't do loli, and I never liked how Shirou and Vita suddenly went from bro to shipping. Just kind of ruined the dynamic for me.
I still find the snips funny, but the ship feels empty and boring.
FatexShirou is still my personal favorite. ShirouxSignum though is a very close second.

This is more or less my feeling on the issue as well.
Nevertheless, I commend Daneel on achieving what I now suspect was his goal when he started their 'bromance' and converting the heathens to his ship. 'Twas a very well orchestrated little brainwashing
