Honestly Santo while you can argue what you are best at don't deny the fact that you can write some amazing fluff whenever you want to you just prefer heart wrenching story's which is A OK with me as I love pretty much everything you write.

No matter how many times I read this, I cannot forget the fact that it is a goddamn fucking amazing portrayal of Kirei's devouring self-doubt before the 4th War, a magnificent symbolic piece that narrates his inner struggle, and a great horror, drama and psychological piece that delves incredibly well into the character of Kotomine Kirei.
Delicious terror and despair.
I'm sure you wouldn't want to hear all over again the rest of the praise I have to offer this piece on a scene by scene and detail by detail basis, and I'm not feeling like writing one of my essays, I'll just say this.
Characterization, narration and theme were stellar. You did an astounding job with this, and I loved it. Kudos, Santo.
