Showerthought: you could actually draw a lot of comparisons between Sigmund (father of Sigurd) and Arthur pendragon. Both had their “sword in the stone”. Both accidentally fucked their sister. Both had a nephew/son to go on adventures with. The difference between them is that Arthur had everything given to him while Sigmund suffered for his entire life and had to work for everything.

Here is the end product of a very, very silly idea I had. I ended up more satisfied with the lore that I tought I would be at first, and I hope you like her too! I also experienced with including quotes in the skill descriptions, tough I'm not sure I'll repeat that.

This necessisated her summoning into a mortal body as a pseudo-servant, and incarnating in a mortal body gave this skill a rank-down.

A skill denoting one who serve as a symbol of fortune and success. In Roman culture, wolves were seend as messengers of Mars, the God of War. As such, seeing one before a battle would be a sign that the Roman soldiers would be victorious, and there is an anecdote of the army accepting a wild wolf amongst their ranks during the Battle of Sentinum.

As the wolf recognized as the mother of the Roman people, Berserker is a goddess that bring felicity and triumph to her children. She project an aura of fortune around her, with any ally who stays in it recieving a bonus to their Luck as well as a boost in morale from her comforting presence.

That fragrance thickens her shield along with sharpening her fangs and claws. Its whereabouts are vague, and it renders class disadvantages as something meaningless.

A Skill that refers to both borrowing bodies and appearance change. As a Goddess, Berserker naturally possess the ability to change her appearance, tough it has been limited when she took a mortal body. The only forms she can access to are ones based on the fragmented aspects the Roman civlization came to know her as.

She can shift into the completely human-looking Acca Larentia known as a lascivious woman, the wolf who took care of the twin founders, and she can even change her gender to male by becoming Lupercus, the god which came to be associated with the Lupercalia festival.

"My children had a lot of misconceptions about me, but they kept loving me no matter the name they gave me. So I do not mind at all taking the forms they gave me. Oh, you want to see one, Master? Alright..."

The sacred cave in which Berserker nursed the divine twins Romulus and Remus, taking care of them and blessing them with the drive and fierce attitude of wolves through the act. It would thereafter be the scene of the Lupercalia festival, so that Rome's crops and women would be blessed with her fertility and that the city would be purified. In fact, after the ritual's abolishment during christian times, many began to blame natural incident on not having its protection. As a Servant, the cave and its associated ritual are manifested as large and rocky shield, influenced by, Mash Kyrielight's, her vessel, abilities.

By calling upon the name of a Noble Phantasm, she can call up on the blessing she gave to her children the Roman, in the form of a barrier that cover her allies. The barrier's durability is rather weak since it's not its true function. Rather, what it does is imbibe them with the same vitality and drive that the twins demigod inherited, repleneshing their energy and also purge the body of taints such as curses or sicknesses, leaving any 'charge' hale and hearty. It also give the combative drive that led to the founding of Rome, emboldening their spirits to the limit and even giving them a slight boost to their attacks for a short time. However, as it is this same ambition that led to Romulus killing his brother and the agressive expansion of Rome, her allies may become out of control as their desires overflow.

Description

Berserker is Luperca, the wolf goddess who took care of the legendary founders of Rome when they were infant, incarnated in a copy of the body of the Demi-Servant Mash Kyrielight. Much like our beloved kouhai, she is a girl who help people and give them kindness without thinking much about it with a sweet smile. Unique to her however is a maternal caring along with that, giving her a nature to take care and guide those she finds vulnerable, especially younger people. In fact, as the adoptive mother of Romulus, she sees every Roman as her children and her role as taking care of them.

However, a part of her nature is also being a wild beast. She tends to have a rather simple way of thinking about most things, to the point she follows her whims and instinct without much thinking about it. If she wants to eat something, she eats it. If she want to take care of a child, she'll grab and cajole them without asking for permission. And should she like someone, she will proposition them without any shame. This last fact tends to make a certain eggplant yell in horror.

If she has one regret, is that she couldn't have done anything from stopping two of her children from going into a deadly conflict. While she knew that neither would have accepted anything else, she still wish there was a way for Romulus and Remus to both survive their dispute, and to accomplish their dream both. Tough she knows this is but a pipe dream, she just doesn't like the thought of her family being torn apart so.

Lore

In ancient times, before the advent of the great city of Rome, the primitive communities around the Palentine Hill worshipped a certain deity. She was a Earth Mother Goddess named Luperca who nurtured and defended her people as her kind does. She could take the form of a noble wolf or a beautiful woman, and she liked to use the later form to service and lay with men in exchange for their offerings. This would be the root for the word Lupa meaning both she-wolf and prostitute in latin. Her favored mate was a shepherd by the name of Faustulus, with whom she had twelve children. However, the youngest one died in childbirth, leaving her with much sorrow.

One day, while she was hunting in the form of a wolf, she happened to stumble unto the odd scene of two toddlers carried by the waters of the Tiber Rivr towards her. Those were Romulus an Remus, the sons of Mars who had been left to die in the wilderness by order of their maternal granduncle Amulius, who feared that they would take the throne of Alba Longa. Tiberinus, the compassionate God of the river, asked that Luperca take care of the demigods.

Seeing her youngs in the vulnerable, crying babies, she gladly accepted and thus took back the twins to her cave to take care of them along with her litter. Tough greatly surprised to see the new children when he came to check on his family, but he gladly helped her raise them. And so, the half-divine children would be given both the wildness of beasts and the education of humanity.

After Romulus founded the City of Rome with her biological children amongst his first subjects, her worship would continue amongst the city and the cave in which she took care of her youth would be the site of the Lupercalia ceremony. However, through the ages, the particular of her nature became forgotten in the mind of the citizens as they came to remember in different fragments: the wolf who nursed the twins after she lost her youngs, the woman Acca Larentia who adopted them then was deified after her death, and the male god Lupercus who was an aspect of Faunus and blessed the city through the rites of Lupercalia.

He probably would cop to being wrong on tobacco consumption, but would still continue to smoke himself since it's not like he has to worry about health-problems as a Servant. And the Marlin (I presume that's what you meant) is just because his FC was meant to be the anthropomorphic personification of one. I chose it because it otherwise had the vibe I was looking for.
