While I don't recommend most crit CEs, if you want him to pull stars then you must use Bazett. One good option because of his Shielder-like disposition and increased NP gain when hit is Guda Guda Poster Girl (3 turn taunt and Damage Up 60/80% for 3 turns). The Moonlit Four works decently well since he can benefit from the star rate and NP charge boost as well as that minor healing. Alternatively, going the standard Imaginary Around works too.

It's not that it's worse than Bazett but given that Edmond has 30 (less than one third of Saber class) star weight, it's better to run Bazett if you are thinking of making him a crit monster. If you want close to a Saber class value, Sensei and Me would work well enough. I'd prefer a more specialised version since he got that Quick 4 hit count and he can instantly generate stars (though it's still mostly used for the cleanse on self). The priority is mainly for the boosted damage through crits since unlike all other classes, he's consistently dealing 1x damage to non-Beasts and non-Rulers.

Not for me either. Spent too many of those items ascending the rest of my units (Liz, Rhyme, Euryale, Medusa, MHX). Though it is cool to have a set of fully ascended units now after the KnK gave a ton of the items...

It should be even easier for you than him if you're really as dry on gold servants as you make it seem. You're not a new player, and I doubt you've been raising skills. You shouldn't have had anything to spend those materials on. Do you not do events or something?

My Santa Alter, Nobu & Count didn't have much of a hard time, although Count got focused on to much & got killed eventually.

I duuno if it is just me, but Gilles keep on casting that Sloth Sin which reduces all servants NP by 20 or 25, can't remember but it makes it much easier for my Drake to pick him off. Waver was killed, but the Count, Saber Shiki and Drake finish the job. I like how the lore has it that Gilles' sin in sloth is not working hard to stay true to Jeanne'e ideals and fell from grace after her death.

Ha, didn't know the battlesuit swap triggers this bug too. Also I believed that you can select the sealed NP card just like you can do the cards of stunned Servant. Oh well.
