Did you read it? The guy clearly is fulfilling a desire to reimagine the setting from the ground up while giving it the proper production it never had. He's already introduced many new elements with intention to expand the scope of the work.
How has the gaslighting ended up with Nasu finding Re a passionless chore he didn't want to really take on? he's truly built different to be able to output such a quality work with that mindset.
Calling Tsukihime Remake a more creative bankrupt activity is a bit much as a defense of a game as inconsistent as FGO.

I've read the OG Tsukihime and liked it enough to think that it really doesn't need a remake. Sure, the production value is lower, but does it really matter for a VN? It's already a complete work with more than enough scope and premise to expand on its own. In fact, it is in sore need of expansion and elaboration, with the 27 DAA, Dark Six, etc, being never truly touched on--which is why I much prefer a Sequel than a Remake. The remake is an objectively good thing, it's undeniable, but at the same time, I'm just wondering if it's a Necessary Thing at all; especially because in regards to the crowd that complains about FGO being in the way of more Tsukihime content. For me, Tsukihime Remake isn't "More Tsukihime Content", it's just a completely New Tsukihime build from ground up that will set back actual New Tsukihime Stuff for at least a few more decades.
I still don't know if you've read the remake or have any intention of reading it.
Please let me know.
And I don't get how your feelings on the necessity of the remake equate to your expert mindreading of Nasu's person.
if he wanted to even do a sequel he needed to modify the story to make it more cohesive with future and current content.

I've finished Arc's route, and am waiting for the official English release before continuing to Ciel's route. It definitely feels like something that is written with a lot of care and love. As it should be, it had to be good lol--it took decades to be finished after all. Does not excuse decades of development hell, and it does not explain why it got sidelined by Nasu's other projects. I'm just trying to rationalize why it was so low on Nasu's priority.

Exactly, Tsukihime Remake is evidently somewhat of a reaction to the expansion and success of the Fate series. It does not have to be that way, but Nasu is trying to make the TMverse to be like the MCU, and for that the Multiverse stuff have to be sorted out.
The expansion, new lore, characters, etc could and should have been introduced in the sequel, is what I believe.
Hmm... while there are certainly some elements I can agree with that take on, there are others I think only really work if "they showed up the first time", if that makes sense.
We still don't have Red Garden for full context, and only Nasu knows what he might be cooking for a follow-up after that.
At the very least, I believe Nasu felt the introduction of these new elements in the remake was necessary for what he's got in store next, and hopefully we get to see it.
And I think he was likely pretty excited about those.
Given your post count I reckon you already know the fan TL of the remake is complete, and you took a conscious decision to wait for the official TL on the Ciel route.
I hope you have fun reading it when it does come around.
The first 4 years were Mahoyo development.
FGO was noted for freezing 4 more years, between 2013 and 2017.
That leaves 5 years unaccounted for, supposedly the "active development" time, which is not much more than the 4 years for Mahoyo.
I think they modified Kirikiri further for this one too.
So it kinda does work out.

It does make releasing that TM Ace issue with all that Tsukihime stuff in 2015 a very very daft marketing decision.
Adding to this, I think it's pretty concerning that TM is already falling into that "Unlimited Remake Works" phase. Tsukihime Remake took that much time to finish half of its contents, and now we have Fate/Extra Record already in development hell as TM's first independent game studio's product.

When it comes to reusing characters and retreading familiar narrative element, I much prefer FGO's approach; or better yet, maybe TM should take note with how Mihoyo does it with Honkai Star Rail.
what the fuck
ok, after calming down from laughter, she is ambassador of "FGO Fes. 2023", so just for the anniversary
dunno if that makes any difference
Personal skill
what does this actually like, entail
will she be on stage (on screen) at Fes?
I'm just glad for her being able to do something related to Fate at all.
Witness The Power Of The... Suicide Squad?
