oh speaking of, unles the subs missed something, it really seems like rin used her whole crest. there is nothing about it being a small piece of it. the only clue that might be the case is its smaller on shirou and thats more likely because rin altered it to serve a new function then anything else.
I wouldnt mind that, except rin did again, hint that there was more then one option here. I just choose to believe in the anime that newoption was something really horrible, like severing saber's ahoge or stealing taiga's last manjuu
Even if he could, without Rin's or Luvia's output, Gandr is just a cold-curse instead of a magic bullet- although im pretty sure even Nasu forgot about Rin's gandr beeing special when he gave Luvia the exact same thing.

Im pretty sure Gandr was a spell from the crest, so if Rin uses Gandr again after that, we know she didnt use the whole thing.
its hard to, but Ill try. its not that the more action packed episodes were bad, I quite enjoyed them in their own way, but this episode seemed to catch more of the innate "feel" of fate that I actually feel has been a bit lacking lately. It helps that nothing was rushed and they let the scenes evolve at exactly the pace they needed to. From the crest transfer, to the flashback(s), to what in retrospect was probably the final saber scene (I had originally expected her to have a longer and more indepth farewell scene, but that final conversation really wrapped her side of it up enough I wouldn't complain even if that was it)
Dunno, like I said, its hard to precisely put into words, but this episode really just felt like a true "adaptation" in that it brought the story to life.
I think DEEN was the first one that assigned voice acting, and then there was the RN, which is why the hentai scenes had no voice acting in them. (Since they were from the original that had no voice acting.)
Or maybe just because they were h-scenes.

Yeah just checked, DEEN is 2006, RN is 2007.
He never sleeps. He never dies.
Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.
People will probably be mad about Rin giving up the crest but I always kinda liked that because it's very Rin-like. "Decades of my family's accumulated knowledge? Nah, I'll be fine starting from scratch"
Yeah, so dragon is a DEEN original.
don't call it a comebackAlso, welcome back, if I never got around to mentioning.
