I basically quit playing for a couple weeks, so same even before getting to roll for Vector at all (I had previously thrown whatever I had left for Daiyan just because she's the one doll I'm missing, but didn't get anything). Now I REALLY have to hope Vector doesn't decide to send someone else in her place.

Same issue with ZZZ but I honestly feel like just checking out of ZZZ entirely, if I fail to get Vivian I'm done with Mr. Hoyo's wild ride.

Alrighty, managed to get caught up with the event story, but compared to the "basically a main story" chapters we'd gotten so far it's not really that impressive. Gotta wonder though

I never got Vector in the first game (somehow) so most of my understanding of her character came from some side events I happened to catch with her participating and the memes about her kit as a character. Finding out the Nuclear Witch of the Apocalypse is actually a low energy pessimist convinced everything going well in her life is either a mistake or a disaster waiting to happen was a, mostly pleasant, surprise. And yes, her voice is surprisingly at odds with her character as well.

Oh, so the bastard didn't just sign a contract not to contact any of the Dolls ever again, he also tries pretending to be dead, huh? That would make a good deal more sense (as well as explain why Kalin was so mad at him).

Or they're actually dead (again), and it's a bad timeline like with Carthesian Theater and Slowshock, made to fill in the blanks between gfl1 and gfl2, but also deliberately lead the exact character of the way things played out into gfl2 vague, because what we got in CK was certainly not it.
This seems a bit stupid, but it's worked before. Slowshock shows you that Q is a Paradeus plant, knowledge that you could not have gained from the main story in any way, which greatly recontextualizes her character in the endgame as they're getting owned and she's trying to cut them loose.
